  1. It's actually just my four children's names put together. I pronounce it...

ash-el jay-ko(long a and o on the last part). Maybe I should give it more thought:D THanks for the input

I'm sorry, my brain isn't working yet...I guess it would be easier to tell you the kids' names. Ashlyn, Shelby, Jadyn & Kody (We call Jadyn Jay bird)

  2. ics's

autumn leaves-this is selling like crazy for me.

I bought this from BCN (it was from the BNL line) and it almost made me sick. I know i put too much in my candle. what % did you use? It's a true scent and I know if I could calm it down a little I would like it more.

  3. This is a hard one. I can see both opinions. When I said rejects...I meant things that weren't selling or even votives that wasn't anything that I wanted to carry. Nothing that is crap. I'll keep thinking about this one. I don't do garage sales myself...but I love thrift stores!! Thanks for everyones opinion. Ginger

Didn't see this (it's been a LONG Monday). If they are good candles maybe you could put a little sign out that says "discontinued scents" and business cards next to it.

  4. I am going to have to agree with Michael AND Kristine. I don't see anything wrong with selling your products at a garage sale. It's a good way to get your product out there and if people like it, the power of word of mouth is priceless.

This is where I agree with Michael, If you are going to display your product make sure it's your highest quality products not your rejects. Your name is on the label and you don't want anyone walking away thinking you offer anything less than the best.

  5. I'm a newbie so I'm just here for moral support until the troops arrive. :D I made 2 rustics so far. The first one I did the same way you do and it gave me more of a marbled glaze over my candle (which I actually kinda like) but I was going for a rustic so the 2nd one I made I put the mold in the freezer before I poured and I got texture that time. Maybe that will work for you?

i think they look good even if they aren't as "rustic" as you would like

  6. :P

this is true, but I wanted to tell ya you're not alone with this scent, I think it stinks also, but my daughter really liked it, so I gave all that I made to her-but..... then I had to smell it through her door- BARF!! LOL

Is your daughter by any chance a teenager because mine is 16 and she is the one in the house that just loves it!

  7. just without wick and small flat jars are best for them . like a flat squat mason jar, or tureen , or 10 oz apot. jar

Thanks...they seem to be very popular. Even my Mom was asking about them. It just doesn't seem like a candle to me though without the flicker:D
