  1. Dang those are bright! But I like them They look so creamy and smooth.
  2. Nothing wrong with runny chunks, unless you were going for a different look Nice colors and bet they smell good. You ought to light that chunk up and see how it glows.
  3. Yeah you did Trish and I still don't see the fugly in them lol!
  4. You know I liked the sherbert candles the first time you poured them, so I wouldn't vote for those lol!
  5. Oh like those! You should share more often
  6. Almost got 'er Keep working at it. Really like those colors.
  7. I love those! I think the colors are awesome
  8. Looking good Mary I'd say the mojo is working
  9. Betting on in a herbal combination would be good too. Just combo the scents to match what they are good for perhaps, like a relaxing one might be lavender, chamomile, rosemary or there's the ever popular sensual blends of say jasmine, ylang ylang and rose or even sandalwood.
  10. Karol those look great! Congrats on your first batches
  11. This is a relatively new scent review site. You may not find info on the scents you listed, but you can always add to it in time if you'd like http://scentreview.szenasi.ca/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi
  12. Here's a link to the fragrance finder http://www.geocities.com/lwoollen_25/FragranceFinder/ Aside from that, Peak's Red Clove is a wonderful spicy clove scent.
  13. Congratulations and here's to many more sales
  14. Well heavier that I think of: Amber Romance, Sandalwood or even the Asian Sandalwood others mentioned ... maybe a harvest or harvest spice, Indian summer, patchouli rose, frankincense or frankincense and myrrh.
  15. What about your pomegrante and orange? Or even just pomegrante? There are many tea choices too. Tuscan Nights Cranberry scents (maybe closer to fall) Apple jack & peel fruit slices Raspberry mandarin plum Heck you probably have 1,000 oils to choose from, but those were some off the top of my head.
  16. I really like that. Ash you're lucky
  17. That made quite a difference. I bet you're having a lot of fun with gel I did find some shells, but dang if I can figure out where they were put.
  18. Well if you are looking at ditching it, bring it to Chicago. I'll take it home lol!
  19. The only thing I would add is trying the craft first and deciding if it what you want to do rather than put $ into it only to find you just don't have an interest ... regardless of the amount of $ you have. With candle dyes, you don't want to use water-based coloring like food coloring in wax. The dyes come in a variety of forms, chips, blocks, powders and liquids. You'd probably get more bang for your buck using liquids, but it will be a matter of testing them in your wax to get the color you're seeking. One of the books I've always enjoyed was the encyclopedia of candlemaking techniques by LEA and I think most candle equipment sites carry it. Aside from books, reading and researching on boards has been invaluable. Welcome to this board
