Definitley paper towels. I should own stock in paper towel companies.

Another vote for Peak's version. It's a good one. :smiley2:

I haven't noticed any new scents for awhile. I look at their site periodically just to check for new FO's.
The Lemon Danish sounds good.

I've been looking too. I LOVE that scent. If I find one, I"ll let ya know.
-
Awesome idea!!!
-
It melts MUCH better, at least thats what I've found. I don't even sell the bulb-style burners now.
-
Aw, Mel, I feel for ya! I just now poured today for the first time since I found out I was pregnant. Smells are a huge trigger for me. I feel your pain!! :lipsrseal

There isn't a bigger zinc that I know of, but there are other types of wicks that you could use that would burn hotter than that one.

Too cute Val!

That sucks, but that sure is purty soap!

I much prefer the ones with the heating plates. I don't like the bulbs for a couple of reasons. One, sometimes they don't melt the wax all the way. Two, I don't wanna have to worry about selling replacement bulbs.
I get my burners from www.levinegifts.com

I think you're doing it right. Explain it to your friend this way: if you make a cake for 4 people with half a cup of chocolate and 4 eggs, and you want to make that same cake for 2 people, that doesn't necessarily mean you'll use a quarter cup of chocolate and two eggs. If she knows anything about cooking she'll understand that. It's not necessarily a matter of multiplication or division. That is the art part of the art and science of candlemaking.
Thats a great way to look at it!

Sorry to bother you
Trust me, Georgia is the last person who would get hateful. She's a wonderful help and was just guiding you to the search feature.
I charge $4.00 for my clams. They're very popular.

Keep on doing what you are doing. You are being a responsible chandler and putting safety before haste.

Never tried ICS, but I use NG's Pink Sugar and love it.

Top-notch supplier all around. Great prodcut and awesome customer service.

Those are gorgeous!

Have you even looked at this thread that is at the top of the page?

And, actually, you DO have to test for yourself. There is no way around it.

Wow! That is awesome Robin!

Are you looking for a straight coffee? If not, give JS's Caramel Cinnamon Latte a try! It's awesome!! I also love Peak's Cappuccino Hazelnut.
I second both of these! Both of them are wonderful!

I'm not trying to be mean or anything....but I think you're moving a little too fast. If you just started making candles a couple weeks ago, I wouldn't rush trying to get business cards made. I know it can be very overwhelming, but it can be dangerous and should take a little time to get it all right. This is just my opinion...
This opinion should be more than just "noted." If you just started, business cards and sales shouldn't even be on your mind right now.

That is beautiful!

Those are cute Val!

I am in AWE of your soap!
