  1. Hi Candybee :) I remember you once mentioned you had a favorite lavender that you used to order from a supplier out West. For the life of me I can't find it any old posts .

Do you happen to recall the supplier by chance?

Hope my answer is not too late for you. My absolute fav lavender FO is from Pure Fragrance Oils. Its the original lavender that Tony's and Southern Garden carried. Its more pricey than other lavenders but the best as far as I am concerned. Hope that helps.

I don't have any problems with melting products. Why do you ask?

No need to apologize. You did not offend me.

I wrote the article in a manner that would teach a beginner how to make the soap. You don't have to do that. Just right about your process when you make the soap, what you like to do, what you like about it, or any a special technique or oil or additive, etc. that you like to use. If you have a special story that goes with the soap write about that.

The soap of the month should be different each month. KWIM? Otherwise it would get boring after a month or two if we all used the same format or similar words.

      Good luck.

What is it that you want to copy/paste? If its a post I made there is a quote feature you can use. If its the soap of the month you need to use your own words for that. However, you can use my example as a format but it still needs to be in your own words. Sorry to be vague but there is a copyright involved.

You are lucky to have some free wax to play with. For palm wax I use either CSN or RRD wicks. I prefer CSN and only use RRD as a backup wick.

Candle Science is the only supplier of CSN wicks. Use their wick guide to help you select the right size wick. My suggestion is try one size below their suggested wick size. These wicks burn hot and have a tall flame so I find a size smaller works best for me.

Candlewic carries RRD wicks and you just select the size wick for your jar size.

      Good luck!
