I have to pour mine up to the bottom of the screw lines too. It just looks like I didn't fill them enough if I go lower, and customers think I'm cheap. LOL

Do I fill until it starts to curve? or up to the screw on lines for the lid? ((sorry if this is a repeat, didn't know how to search this one)):undecided TIA! Jenn

I have ordered samples of diff. waxes, the shopping bags they send them in tear and are messy. What is the best way to store this wax?? Can I use rubbermaid containers? TIA!

You didn't start anything Daisy. Some people just like to argue. What started out as a fun thread veered off course somewhat. So let's get it back on track.

I declare that my own special top secret blend of Golden Brands wax (415 and 402 with USA), known only to me and my trusty Lab Assistant Bobbie the Bobcat, not only to be the Cadillac of Soy, but also the Prime Rib, All White Meat Chicken Nuggets, and the Rolex of Soy!

I hope I didn't start this....I just wanted opinions on diff. soy wax as to who likes what the best...you know, like I prefer a chocalate shake compared to vanilla, why, because it's more tasty. I wasn't trying to cheat.

I know what it is. But it will only be available to a select few.

Wanting to venture to the bright side of soy. Would like to get opinions from you as to where to start. ((Is there a soy that does not require any additives other than scent and color?))

You must try a few of these oils.. they are awesome in my parasoy blend. I will only use the kind that are "house fillers".

Mulled Cider (best I have tried.. a strong mac apple and spices type)

Peach Magnolia Raspberry ( da bomb!!)

Kudzu ( killer grape fragrance)

Birthday Cake (declicious!)

If I just want to make 1 candle, 8 oz, how much FO do I use for just 8-9 oz of wax? Astor Q.

I don't know about for packaging, but I find that the cheap stuff workes better than the real deal. I would think it would be the same for tarts. Hope someones better help for ya.

I'm going to make my new "AstorQ" work for me. I'm trying to find a voo-doo dance to try so it will do so. (jk)

Okay, I received an e-mail this morning stating that they do not sell directly through their website. I guess the next step is to call them. How did you get your samples????

Well, I got my sample wax. Mixed with PEAK's cap/hzelnut and a tad of rust colored block coloring...This morning, it looks and smells devine!! We'll see how the curing goes. Cross your fingers! I Love how the wax looks!
