  1. That is exactly what I was thinking of when I was looking for a clear sheet at Micheal's.

Thanks Jen! I will have to try an office supply place.

Yes, I am sure that an office supply place would carry "little plastic thingies". I've seen alot of "little plastic thingies" there . . .:laugh2:

  2. I am a regular Southern Scentsations customer and their turn around time has always been top notch for me. I have been a customer ever since their shop was in the basement of their home, which as Trudy stated has been atleast 7 years. From my experience, if they receive orders before the UPS guy picks up, orders ship the same day. They do not send shipping confirmation emails, which I wish they would, but typically when I order I just know my package will arrive next day. Beth, Doug and their workers are all great. If you think your package should have arrived via UPS by now, simply call them. Their customer service is great.

  3. Thanks Deb...but I am replacing my TOG made by Paul. It's a shame as I love the versatility of the mold I have...however I can't tolerate the leaking.

That's a bummer your mold is leaking . . :sad2: Before reading your post I was considering one of these.

  4. I also find that my blend has a much better CT & HT and my tarts last much longer . .The KY parasoy is easy to work with, but when I tested I got little to my expectations. My testers also noticed a difference. SO I blend KY 143 with my parasoy candle blend and it works better for me.

  5. I am hoping someone can help me here since I haven't had any luck in searching and comparing scent descriptions off the internet for various Black for men scents. I am testing NG's Black for men and want to add it to my line but thought I should know which dupe it is if my customers should ask. So . . What dupe is NG's Black for Men ? Kenneth Cole? Armani Code Black ? Polo Black ? Axis Black ? I have sent an email to NG but haven't gotten a reply :undecided

  6. I love White Tea & Ginger, it is one of my top sellers. I buy it from Alabaster but have gotten samples from Peak - both suppliers smell identical to me OOB and in all applications. NG on the other hand doesn't smell anything like the others. Alabaster HT is awesome in a soy blend and of the few batches of CP I have made it smells divine and behaved well for me. It is a very unique scent.

  7. My only question is will it get "bubblier" as it cures? I was hoping for mega bubbles when I cleaned up my soaping dishes but there wasn't as many as I expected. Could I have done something wrong ?

Took the plunge and tested a bar instead of little slivers . . this recipe is very creamy with great bubbling action !!! :yay:

  8. My first attempts of CPing over the weekend I used this recipe. I didn't tackle the GM I just used distilled water and left out the silk since I didn't have any. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of soaping and my first time results :yay: (Yes, I believe I have found a new addiction - lol) I cannot wait to use this soap in the shower, after just a couple days it makes my hands feel so divine ! My only question is will it get "bubblier" as it cures? I was hoping for mega bubbles when I cleaned up my soaping dishes but there wasn't as many as I expected. Could I have done something wrong ?

  9. Dana . . I hadn't considered placing a participant minimum vs. a dollar amount minimum. But then again I have had singles inquire about fundraising separate from a group, which I have honored many times.

I do have a minimum $$ amount that pushes the fundraiser participant(s) to sell more. If they are short I still honor their profit amount for their dedication to trying.
