Can someone tell my which supplier sells the foaming bath butter?

I may have missed a post on whats officially going on. I know the deadline is May 15th. I posted my pics to the B&B gallery, but should they be on this thread? Since most have decided to do 1/2 bars for the swap, when will we be sending these out and what info is needed on the bars? Just curious as I am kind of board today.

They are ocean breeze scent and most of the blue is on the bottom. I missed the mold and bunch went over the side. I'm thinking I like my very first CP soap I made last week better. I will post cut pics tomorrow.

Heres my cut pics. I think I am almost trying too hard. Not very impressed with these. I just made one more batch of Citrus basil colored with yellow and green. Looks like baby poop. I am giving up on swirls for a while an just do a layered soap.

Thanks everyone. Its nice to hear positive remarks considering, the soaps still are not as nice as I wanted. Holy cow it took forever to clean up all the cups, pot, and utencils. I cant wait to make my batch for the challenge.

Well, they didnt turn out as bad as I thought. They looked horrible in the beginning. I thought it would be one solid blob of color. The mica was purple, but it turned out rasberry. I need some practice cutting. Next time i will definatley use less soap to make my color swirls. I think I used 1 cup for 4lbs of soap. Anyway, they are lavender scented.

I cant get the pics to upload here. I have them on photobucket, but when I go to put it on the gallery, it just has a red "x" in a box.. How do I just post the actual pics here without have a url. Does that make sense??

I did my first CP today and it looks like CRAPOLA. I tried to do the swirl in the pot but I dont think I let it trace well enough. I used a purple mica and it looks more like rasberry. i hope it changes and I used lavender fo. I think for the challenge I will do a solid color. How do you all do a two color swirl?

I want to try the lime margarita with the salt, but I will never be able to get the scent in time. I am finally going to get to do my FIRST CP soap tomorrow. Wish me luck, I will notify the hospitals, and firestations before I start.

I got my scale from Oldwillknot today and it looks great. It holds up to 35lbs and its a really light scale. Its new and I only paid $10.99 for it plus around 15 shipping. Im thinking I got a pretty good deal if anyone is looking for a new scale.

I was looking at the grocery store last night and on the back of the veg. oil it says soybean oil as the ingredient. So veg oil is soybean oil?? I feel so stupid, because I could not find soybean oil anywhere, and this whole time I had it sitting in my cupboard. There needs to be a soaping 101 for dummies for VERY basic instructions:embarasse

I just got one from this gal for a good price. I guess its a good beginner mold. My husband is going to make me a few more now that he knows what I am talking about.

Ok, this is my first time buying this stuff and what I ended up with was "Roebic" crystal drain opener. It says it contains sodium hydroxide as its only ingredient. So I assumed this was the right stuff. Can someone clarify that this is correct or not. I think it was around $8 for 2lbs.

Well, for the cost i went ahead and took Suzanne and AVD's advice and got a scale from OldWillKnot off ebay. It looks like a nice scale, cant wait to get started. May 15th will be here before I may get started for this challenge.

Ok, I want to start with this challenge going on, but need to get a scale yet. Whats a good beginner scale to get? I dont want to spend a fortune on it. Does Walmart carry anything that would sufficient?

I tried to mix colors in a rebatch and it it looks like CRAP:mad: . I want o make pretty soaps, but if they keep up like this I am just going to stick with MP.

Some of you, well all of you have awesome packaging for your soaps. I can t find anything on how to get labels made. The soaps I am ready to sell at my salon are in cellophane bags w/raffia, but no tags or labels yet. I have regular address labels, but dont want to do that. Where can I get help w/designing a label? Thank you again!!

My cutter is large like that...it must just be dull. I went to find it on ebay and he doesn't have them out there any more

I think I just didnt spritz enough alcohol. I will try that next time. My mold is a fairly thin mold so maybe the layers were too thin. Thanks for the advice. I did use those chunks and put them with white base and they are cute. I would post a pic, but wheres my camera:mad: It has disapeared!
