I just LOVE this soap. You did a fantastic job. Is that a lime green. That is my favorite color so I am a little partial to it. Your always welcome to send some my way!

They look awesome and so do your hostas. Mine(hostas) have turned into a salad bar for those damn rabbits.
-
They look wonderful! Cant wait to see cut pics.

My bars seperated too and they WERE so cool looking. That is frustrating. I forgot to use alcohol between layers, but since you did, maybe there isnt any hope for me. I want to do layers for the summer swap.

Oh, thats going to be such a cute place. I wished you lived a little closer to me in NE.

What is the ingredient list? We might be able to figure it out for you
It has Jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, rice bran oil and Vit.E

I got some MP off ebay when I first started doing this.Angie is right, I think its more expensive than if you go right to a supplier. Most do paypal as well.

Oooh, I love lavender. They look great!

If I could just get that thru my clients head. If you use the oil, it will heal. Acrylic nails are porous and beneficial oils like jojoba and sweet almond penetrate down to the nail bed keeping your nails healthy, thus the acrylic will adhere better to a healthy nail. (I just know everyone wanted a lesson on nails, didnt you)*getdown* I know the jojoba oil can actually be absorbed into the skin because of its malicular(sp?) structure. A lot of oils like mineral just sit on the skin and really dont do anything. The pro brand I use at my shop is awesome, but I would love to be able to say I made my own. Hopefully soon I can figure out which to mix with what.I've been making lotion bars & butters for aprox 3 months and it is amazing what they have done for my nails....can't keep them trimmed enough!!! Don't know if it is the oils, the massaging of the oils into the cuticles or a combo but it is definately working.

I didn't mean that as a criticism. Sorry you took it that way
Sorry, I didnt mean to sound like I was ripping you:embarasse Did'nt mean too. But it really is kind of a cool concept if you can keep it away from the stupid people.
I would not worry about a lawsuit with it, just like everything you do, you can get sued for it. I know people that live for it sadly.

I
think she's looking for a liquid oil for when she does someone's nails right?Yep, thats right. I basically know what ingredients to use, just not the proportions.

Actually we have these in our salon but a different brand. The wax or whatever it is , is NOT hot at all. It wont burn you, just blow out the flame of course and use the little scoop to put the wax in your hands. Its totally safe as long as a responsible person doenst run their fingers thru the flame like an idiot. They smell fantastic too. Its makes your hands incredibly soft. Our message therapist uses them sometimes for message. You have to experience them before you can criticize them.

ok wow... never thought to look for a sent like that... anyone have some that they can part with so I can try it...PM me! TIA
Jenny
Order a small 1 oz size of it from NG. Holy cow it really does smell like VIcks. I cant wait to make some soap with it.

Does anyone have a great cuticle oil recipe? I think my nail clients would just love this. I know the name brand cuticle oil I use at the salon contains jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, rice bran oil, tocopherl acetate(??) I wouldnt even begin to know what meaurments I would use. I just think it would be fun to have other scents beside good old almond scent.

Thats still better than getting it at Lowes. I think its $9 or 10 for a 2#. Who has the best price?

I want to make this sinus scent close to fall. It smells just like Vicks. I am going blank on somthing to make this unique:undecided . Color, name, additives, especially any clipart to make a cigar band for it. Any ideas?? By the way I got the sampler from NG. They smell great

Those are sweet.

That is the website I am getting flaky clipart from. I am looking for things related to scents, floral, ect. But most from microsoft clipart are kind of . For instance "Love Spell", you would have something with a heart right, not too difficult, But those are really generic. Anyhoo, just wondering if there were any better websites.
-
I am finding nothing but flaky clipart. I am trying to make some labels to put on my new white oval boxes I got today (Thanks again Malinda). Since I am on a very small scale of selling these soaps, I dont want to go through too much trouble making these labels, but good clipart can really make or break a label. Well atleast mine.

I did a batch like that several weeks ago and got carried away with the milk. It was SOOOO soft. It never did set up, so I laid it to rest(garbage) I wish I had more soap to throw in there to harden it up becuase it smelled so good.
-
I just got some new soap molds(for MP). I have seen some awesome looking soaps with them on the web, but how do you get multi colors in them. For instance, a sunflower mold with the brown and yellow. I can barely get one color in ok, let alone two.
