Brenda, Do you find most Sweetcakes FO's are good?
I noticed you use alot of FO's from there.
What's your favourite.......any to stay away from?
I'm thinking of possibly placing an order.
Is this Sandalwood Vanilla the shampoo bar, you have a picture of?
I love the way the top glitters like that!

Here is the soap I made the other day and cut last night.
This first soap is the same as the Lavender soap I make, without the lavender buds.
This soap was requested by a customer who brought to my attention that “HE” didn’t like the lavender buds floating in the bath…
The second soap is Peaks Vanilla-Hazelnut. A customer favourite.
I'm almost out of the FO if anyone has any for sale by the way.......

Love the soap! Looks great! The scents sound amazing.....
I had that happen too with a Green Apple FO.
It didn't quite absorb into the soap or something, I thought it would eventually but it didn't, and it left big white spots.
One of only a few batches I didn't give out or sell! But yours looks great!
OOOOPS on the oil!
Man, I hate being in that predicament with no supplies!
*You'll go through soap withdrawels Brenda....go quick...do anything you can to get some!
-
Great!
Thanks for the tips, and when I make some soap with a stamp I find, I'll be sure to post it!! :highfive:
-
I AM the previous 'fabulousfunfur'..........LOL
I started a new name because I started a website and little on the side soap selling shop.
That's why I said, I previously asked about a soap stamp, because I did....then made the stamp with the wood peices.
But I want something nicer!!!!!!
-
Can you post a picture once you stamp your soap so I can see how it looks?
Also.......guess what!
I was surfing my other favourite place, EBay....and came across something I thought might just do!
Stamps for leathermaking! It's totally the same idea!
Post your pics of the mutilated stamper soaps! LOL
Thanks guys!

I asked this question a while back, but never really got anywhere with it.
I am looking for the stampers that you stamp the soap with.
Like a flower, or square with a design in it, or initial....
I've seen them on websites but I don't want to get involved with a big company and the chance that I could get an over the border charge that people talk about......
Anyone selling any of these stampers? Or know someone who is?

I had the same question a while back........
I did find some websites that were helpful but can't remember what they are!
First you can try to infuse oil with herbs.......and add it to your salve recipe. Hemp is always good too and beeswax for a solidifier.
Go to Google, or Yahoo and just click salves and see what you can find....
Here are a couple I found:
http://www.soapnaturally.org/naturalskincare/herbal_ointments.html
http://bellecitysoapworks.com/salves_etc.html
It's a start anyways.......
Good Luck

Beautiful soap, it's the most colourful unscented soap I've ever seen! LOL

Does anybody make soap with sunflower oil?
I haven't tried it before, but I got some on pretty cheap and was wondering what kind of soap you have made with it?
What do you like about it? :undecided

Who's Lynn, and where the heck can I get this Monoi from her........
What kind of expense are we talking about here.....you're making it sound like it's lined in gold........so now I have to have some!
YOU MONOI BRAINWASHERS!
-
Oh that looks so nice, refreshing is definately the word, as used by another poster..........
Love it!
-
Yes, everything looks wonderful. Great colors!
Keep it up!
-
Your soaps look FABULOSO!!!!!!!
They even look like they'd smell great.
Love the dark one! Ohhhhhhhh
-
You said everything you need to in that brochure.
Love it. Great job!
So it's a one page brochure? Do you print them yourself?
I will definately take your layout in consideration when making a brochure!
:highfive:

I totally thought the same thing.......considering I just was making soap for family and friends for birthdays, Christmas and whatnot, but then I had others asking me what other scents I had, etc. and was frustrated with an email of scent choices.....I felt like it was so unorganized.
I was told about http://wahmshoppes.com/ from another member of Candletech and decided to try it because it was only $7.00 a month and $10 a year for a domain name. You can't go wrong!
I thought I would for sure sell $7.00 a month in product to make up for it!
I must say, it was a little difficult to do the website only because I wanted exactly a certain way.....but the website offers free templates etc.
It has a 'shopping cart' etc. Everything you really would need.
You might want to look into it.
Hope it goes well.....Let us know.......:highfive:

Where In The Heck Did You Get Panthenol. I've Looked
Did You Make Your Own Recipe?
Looooove It

I saw one on Ebay before..........
Check under soap and candle fragrances............
Hope it helps

I'm watching this post too for ideas.......
I'm thinking.....
What most people probably want is their 'logo' and contact information on a first page of a tri-fold brochure, with something interesting to keep people reading throughout the other pages..........
A list of some of your products and basic prices
A website address
More product info...
Pictures
I guess the idea is to get a list of what you NEED people to know
Maybe a coupon on the back page for their first order?
Just some ideas..........
Possibly when you are out and about, in stores, grab a brochure or two to get some ideas...........travel places have them, lawncare companies, spas etc.....

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE LABELS
GREAT COLOR, AND FONTS............
GREAT BOTTLES TOO:wink2:

This supplier, is just a lady who I came in contact with through EBay.
She was selling some coconut oil and palm oil, and I asked if she had local pick up. She said yes, sure!
(I pick up at her home in the North side of Richmond Hill)
She has colorants, lavender buds, all kinds of oils (she buys in bulk and sells), spray and lotion containers, handmade wood molds........all kinds of stuff.
Usually I just ask her if she has something (EO's or FO's) and she will say yes or no, and give me a price. Her prices are soooooo good.
This is her Ebay store: she has way more than she sells on Ebay.
But this has some pictures....
http://stores.ebay.ca/Natural-Works
(don't forget there is no shipping cost so the prices are good)
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK, IF YOU GET A HOLD OF HER

Where exactly is Bowmanville?
My supplier for oils, colorants, herbs...you name it.....is in Richmond Hill...and she's CHEAP
Is that close enough

I posted a few times about finding the same answer before.......about hemp seed oil. I used 25% and it was fine.......I kept getting advice to use less than 10%. Hemp Seed Oil seems to go rancid quickly. I use rosemary essential oil as a natural preservative.
The only batch of soap I ever had to throw out was a hemp seed oil Oatmeal Milk and Honey batch. Oh the smell was hidious! (And it was unfragranced, uncolored!)
Just my tidbit of info to tell you..........
