Hi, I used NG Rootbeer FO in Joy Wax which is a type of soy wax. I really didn't like Joy Wax because I couldn't get anything to throw right for me except for Rootbeer (Wow super strong). 6% FO to wax w/ this scent! HTH:wink2:

Hi, the ones I recommend are:

Natural Eucalyptus: very nice/strong... smells simalar to vicks vapor rub but better

Cinnamon Stick: made a wax dipped bear w/ this scent very nice

Lemon Grass- VERY STRONG

Sun Washed Linen- SUPER DUPER DUPER STRONG ...Clothes Line smells very close to this scent too

Bedtime Bath-Very nice in B&B

Baby Powder-Very nice OOB

Baked Apple Pie- Very nice OOB

Black Raspberry Vanilla- Very nice in B&B

Downy- OOB OK...but smelled better

Peppermint-Strong

Candy Corn- OOB OK...Smelled stronger

Hi, I was wondering if I could cut Essential oils w/ something before I added it to my candle base? I am using J223 for the most part. The essential oil I will be using is Patcholuli... it's a little to strong for me pure. Thanks!

Then I laugh because honestly they have to know these are not hot and if people buy them obviously candle appearance isn't their main priority??? :undecided

Hi, has anyone ever used candy flavor oils to scent lip balm?? I did, I tested it out on BC lip balm base. I haven't died yet but I was wondering if this was safe? If it is, I am sure I am going to run into a problem listing it on my ingredient label??? Thanks!

I bought one from Walmart too. I wanted to compair it to the ones I have been making. I read somewhere that DPG is too thick, then I heard it was ok to use. From my experience DPG works fine but the results didn't blow me away then again Walmarts reeds didn't either. Maybe someone uses something else that produces better results. Oh, I also tried Hexylene glycol and it works just as good as DPG.

Hi, I just got a chance to burn the vicks vapor rub candle that I made on 1/17/06. I also used CS FO and J223 wax w/ a zinc wick. It burned for about 1 hour and it scented up our bedroom and eventually it lingered out into the hall. I will say its not the strongest scent I have tested but it isn't the weakest either.

I have been testing a few oils w/ the reed sticks and some fragrances throw better than others. From what I notice the strongest oils have scented up an average size room.
