    A local hardware store is selling some of my 8oz jars! I am soooo excited!! Delivered them today.

    I have never used this supplier and doesn't look I will. I have only 1 question---WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE? Not just with these suppliers, but anywhere. I managed a convenience store for years and lack of cs out there now just drives me nuts!!

    In my 8oz JJ I use the 44-24-18z and dont have any problems. I do have a square jar that I cannot get wicked right on most of my fos, though.

    All the candles I have ever gotten from Pier 1 have done the same thing. Look great until you try to burn them. I never had one that burned right or had any "smell good" either.

    Angela, my husband was the same way. When he decides to do something he wants it done like yesterday. I let mine take a couple to some of his friends asking for feedback. Thats when he understood why I was burning so many myself. Good luck and have fun!

    We have a fire dept banquet tonight. So I am getting ready for that; we have to take desserts. After that, I am still wick testing some christmas scents in hex jars and christmas cups.

    I have only used one, Chestnuts & Brown Sugar. And I absolutely love it.

    Ouch! That bites! One of the best things about this board is being able to see what others do, tired and true methods. To get ideas, not blatantly copy. I think I would have to confront her. Maybe ask where/how she came up with her ideas. Good Luck.

    I have. I really wanted these wicks to work. Don't like the smoke with the zinc. But, the problem I have is either no scent until the candle is about half empty or the top is covered with soot. If you should figure something out please, please let me know.

    I use this wax also. But I have a 12oz square jar, about 2 1/2" diameter opening and the 51-32-18 zinc works in most. There are a couple I have a slight smoking issue with.

    My favorite changes. Right now it has to be Peaks Cappacino Hazlenut. Buuttt my kids don't care too much for that one. They really like the cinnabuns.

    $1.32 now. There is a supplier closer (lots) to me though. If they will just get some back in stock.

    White Tea and Ginger makes me ill! And aint it always the ones ya dont like that seem to hang around forever?!

    The Brookshires by my house has some of these around Christmas a couple years ago. The one we tried smelled almost good enough to eat. It smoked a lot and my jar turned black. But it did smell awesome.

    I like Peak's Clean Cotton. Smells just like Bounce to me.

    We will be renaming ours to "fire" sounding names. So blueberry will be Backdraft Berry, and baby powder will be The Rookie. And when I settle on a "spicy" scent, that one will be Code 3 Spice. Of course there are some that are giving me trouble like French Vanilla, Vanilla Mint, Fruit Slices. Anyway, fun sounding names that still tell a little about the actual scent.
