Activated charcoal for the black won't give you black/grey suds at 1 tsp PPO. I can send you a bit if you'd like to try it.

Cool!
-
I put mine in the freezer, then immediately into a pan/sink of hot water...they come out immediately with a slight tug.
-
That turned out just beautiful! did you use charcoal for the black?
-
I've only used powdered sheeps milk that a friend in Scotland sent me. I also used powdered butter in a batch with it and it made the most fantastically dense & creamy lather ever!

Less is more, after you obtain trace.
I personally don't like them in CP- too scratchy.
I agree. I now use clay beads instead.
Those jojoba beads can rip your skin off if you use too many.

that is one super-looking mold!
Can you post a pic when they are out of the mold?

Just beautiful, Scented!

I LOVE Black Irish from Backwoods.

Both sites that I love to look at. Cyndi Muller's site has some great stuff, even the stuff not related to soap.
Susanne makes some beautiful things also and has some great info on her site. She is in the Netherlands.

they look great! Nice color. Beer makes for a beautifully lathering soap!
-
Wonderful~!

You? make a plain soap? never! LOL
Another beauty~!

Another beauty! Simply stunning.
:laugh2: at the 'infamous coat hanger method'

I know of someone who made her own molds from these directions. A little larger than what you want, but I'm sure the size could be tweaked by your carpenter to fit your needs.

Your creations are always a pleasure to look at!
Sorry your mold leaked...that seems to be going around lately.
-
they all look great...and I agree with Anita about the milk & honey...please post cut pics when you have them!

My first try didn't go so well, but after that one it was clear sailing. Could have been the FO I used, because it separated badly. I rebatched that first one one and tried again.
I'm now using a bar that I made months ago, and it is really nice.
-
wow...that's a piece of art! and STRAIGHT dividers...what a concept.
how deep is the mold itself? possible to do 36 bars in there pouring it full and cutting horizontally?
-
I get mine from Boyer...but I would say any of the above suppliers who ship in safe containers that the lye can also be stored in.
Shameless request for soap porn......
