  1. I've had nothing but problems with the ZenCart. 3 Days ago, I had my "old reliable" website that used Mals Premium replaced with my new site using ZenCart. Been out of business since. Attributes won't load....it's not me, it's the cart....technical errors. It's clumping all my products together unlike my old site that had everything neatly listed...I had a web designer/developer, who handled my old site, do the new site. I'm stuck with the new site, just sitting there....only my candles are loaded, 2 body products out of many are up but can't even get the flavors or fragrances loaded on those two. I did read the support site...which by the way, as far as being helpful, has only received 2 stars out of 5. I'm not a techy....but it seems there help is geared towards developers with experience. I'm surprised you're not having any problems with it. Did you handle yours yourself or did you have a web developer handle yours? Just trying to figure this out...I've gone from frantic to tears and back for the last 3 days working on this. Last nite I worked on it all day till midnite...then back up at 4:30am and still....nothing.
  2. Since you need it by Saturday, delivery from any supplier is going to cost you a fortune. I saw lib balm kits at JoAnn Fabrics and Michaels. You have to purchase the balm, flavors, colors and containers seperately but very inexpensive. They were really cute and age appropriate. They had about 6 different flavors, colors, glitters and containers and tubes. If I recall, JoAnn's looked the best. Hope this helps.
  3. When I made my lotion sticks and lip balms, I heated all butters and oils slowly in a double boiler. When everything looked melted ( I think I went up to 110 degrees) I removed from the heat, and let it sit for about 10 minutes then poured. I reserved some to top off because yes....I had sink holes. Hope this helps
  4. It's going to be tough since most outsource production overseas but, here's two that you can check out if you haven't already done so. I do have a link to a B2B directory for overseas manufacturers if you're interested. http://www.arminak-associates.com/ http://www.alcovepackaging.com/wst_page9.html Christine
  5. I passed out a few of the samples this morning at the preschool and where I get coffee in the mornings and everybody immediately applied them....they LOVED it!! I have a question about preservative.....should I have added one to this? There was no mention of a preservative. I did tell the people, who I know well, that there were no preservatives. Any help on this particular issue is appreciated. Thanks!
  6. I just finished making this. I've never tried BCN's but I can tell you that I'm not a lip balm kinda gal but I couldn't wait to try this recipe. When I finished pouring, I put one of the tubes in the fridge so it would harden faster. I flavored with Pina Colada (it's the only flavor oil I had). I just applied it....this feels great! I used natural shea....not grainy at all....so far. Thanks for posting a wonderful recipe.
  7. Try the Soap Dish...they're slightly different but they do have 8oz. http://www.the-soap-dish.com/bottles.htm
  8. I'm not sure where you are in the New England area but the Jar store is in CT. You can also try this link: http://www.truelocal.com/ You enter what you're looking for and the state, it will give you a list of suppliers in that area. Hope this helps:)
  9. Hi: I use polycarbonate plastic tealight cups from candlewic. I use a refined paraffin and all natural soy blend. I use LX wicks and mine burn for 8 hours. The cup measures approx. 3/4" in height. Hope this helps.
  10. I really like Apricot Freesia from ICS.
