I was sooo eyeballing the Palo Santo from Muddy last night!😍  Based on the notes, it's appears VERY similar (if not a dupe) to the fragrance, Palo Santo by Carner Barcelona, you can compare the notes at Fragrantica.

I'm really wanting to order it. Trying to decide what else.

  2. I love Muddy Soap. I have 6 of their fragrances. Getting more lol Snow witch, pumpkin pecan waffles (the best and strongest I've found), Gain Apple Mango Tango exact dupe and strong, alright alrighty dupe of Southern Gentlemen strong and amazing, Tuscan vineyard, Black Ice the best ever so strong and I've tried many other brands lol you all have to try their fragrances. They are top notch. Very similar to Mad Oils if you like theirs which I collect too lol I'm very picky about my fragrances. Next I'm trying Palo Santo

I had never heard of Muddy Soap Company until a couple of days ago when someone mentioned in in a FB candle making group.  Heaven knows I don't need another supplier or any more FO's but I'm tempted to order from them just so I can buy Idgie Threadgood.  :)

You need to lol they are very similar to mad oils. Very high quality.

  5. Hi I love Natures Garden. Their scents are strong and amazing. Peaks Fragrances are my favorite. Super strong and even better than NG to me. I also love Candle Science, Mad Oils, Brambleberry, Wholesale Supplies Plus and others. There are a few companies I hate. I do not like Candles and Supplies I find they are weak.  But I hate a few companies.

I don't know which Calwax would work, I primarily used C3 for both candles & melts, they pop right out of molds and clamshells.

I was looking at that one yesterday bit decided on the 464. I stopped making molds because people were being ridiculous about it. I said it was SOLD by weight not pieces. Nope said they wanted 8 melts. The 3 big ones weighed as much as the 8. Nope they weren't having it! Went through that multiple times. Then people want the clams cheaper than Wal-Mart. I got tired of that so finally told a lady to go to walmart!

Did you use 464 for wax melts?  Often, I ask myself why I am not making more melts instead of candles...darn wicks...

I just bought some again. It is soft but if you sell them in a souffle cup and a cupcake silicone liner it doesn't matter. I refuse to make candles. Dealing with wicks is not my thing. I am not patient enough.

ok so the other I used was Calwax so they were both the same.  They both gave me headaches, but I do remember those tunneling issues with that wax.  I really didn't use it long enough to work through the problems.

I don't make candles I just make melts. But people are asking for soy. So now I'm trying to figure out what soy wax to get lol they also want it's soft. I used to make the 464 in the cups. Then you just use a silicone cupcake liner and it's not a mess but you can't ship it like that in the heat. I also hate waiting that long for things to cure but I don't know what to do.

Do you know if Candlewic is having it made for them or if it's another company's wax?  I used a couple different ones and had issues with tunneling.  Swan's candle was one.  Then found out it had paraffin in it so stopped testing.  Burning paraffin gives me horrible headaches so I can't test anything with it.

I use candlewic coconut apricot wax. It has a small amount of paraffin in it. I talked to Calwax and they said that there's is the same exact stuff. They sell it to Candlewic and  Candlewic just puts their own label on it and claims it's their custom wax. It is called Ceda serica wax. What is outrageously expensive but CW is the cheapest for me with shipping. But they're out of stock every couple weeks constantly and it's too expensive. For 40 pounds  to my door is $155 I cannot afford that I am looking for something different. That and the fact that they're all out of it  constantly is not fun to me. I was trying it to be different and everybody wants to use it so it's not really being different if you get it anymore. I am not established yet so I cannot afford to buy it but you might do well with it and be able to charge a lot. Where I live and from researching online people don't care they want soy and that's all they seem to want and I hate soy lol but I am going to learn to love it because soy sells itself. I did buy three of those Chandler and me candlemakere lol I do lots of small batches so it is perfect for me. I also have Presto pops if I need bigger batch is but I'm not establish maybe one day I'll need a bigb candle melter.

Swan's is also the same kind. If you contact Calwax the man is very friendly and he will explain everything to you. Candle and supplies is the same wax as well he said but I believe he said it's not advertised as having paraffin but it does have it he said.

  10. I bought 2 of them. When I sell more stuff I'm buying more lol it works perfect for my coconut apricot wax. I have a bad knee and 2 Achilles heels so I can't stand for a long time without hurting really bad. This is perfect. Getting bigger ones when they come out to. I also have 3 instant pots and a nu-wave oven that make cooking simple to lol that's what these machines remind me of. I love it.

Hi I just found it on Facebook 30 minutes ago. Then I came here and saw your post and was shocked.I had never heard of that fragrance and was thinking of ordering it. Type in Soaping Making with Lisa. Then ask to join and she will let you join her group. She sells a lot of items and fragrance oils as well.I haven't ordered from her yet but she has a lot of customers.I was just looking at her list to see what I might want to order then I came on here and saw your post. I thought I was going crazy. I think I'm going to order it sounds really good.

Hi all!  I have had a special request for Butterbeer, the Harry Potter drink.  I see that The Candlemaker's Store is the only one that carries that fo.  Are there any other great fragrance oils that anyone can recommend from The Candlemaker's Store?  Don't want to just order one bottle of Butterbeer, shipping is pretty high!  Thanks so much!

I didn't like any of The Candlemakers oils. I found them watered down. They are cheap but I would rather pay more. It was very disappointing.

Hi all!  Happy Easter!  I have always used and have never had an issue with Indiana Candle Supplies!  Her clams are great and at a great price.  I think they average out to be about .31each.  I use parasoy and I pour at about 152 with no issues whatsoever!  Kathy is very fast and efficient and she has wonderful fragrance oils too!  So if you are  looking for  a new clamshell supplier, I completely recommend Indiana Candle Supplies!!

I was upset that she charged me double shipping. The oils I bought were not impressive but I've only tried a few. Prices were good and shipping fast.

Maple Street has the round clamshell coming soon.. I saw some pictures on Facebook of it! I think that might be the round one you're thinking of. Also if you search "round pie melt clamshell" on Google another supplier comes up as well..I've never heard of them though. But yes those are super cute!

I got a box that of Maple Street clams that says PVC on them, however I did see on Facebook before in the Maple Street group that they are PET. So I'm confused on that. However I did melt a scent that kind of picked of the plastic skunk smell and it did not hurt the throw, or throw off the scent, so that's promising :)

Thank you. I will check it out.

I just looked and it is  the kind I'm looking for but not the right material. He says it's the same material PVP that destroyed my stuff. It smells like rotten skunk or something. I hope the other brand is different.  PET isn't good either that's why we have to use polypropylene. This stuff is confusing lol

I work with special needs kids and I also drive a special needs bus. I get up at 3:45 and leave my house a little after 5 and punch in at 5:30. I'm picking my first rider up at 6. After I finish my route at 7:30 I start my teachers aide job. I punch out of that at 3:45 and get back on my bus and finally finish my route around 5:20 P.M. It's a long day but I love what I do. I don't have much time to make anything so that's why I don't go public and only sell to friends, coworkers and a few outsiders by word of mouth. I can't offer good customer service right now.

I overfill mine too! I always think I'll stop right at the top but then they start spilling over LOL! Then it looks SO messy!

I've seen the round wedge clam you're talking about from candle lite I think? I've never seen any empty ones for sale though.

I can't see in them that great but have found if you put a piece of construction paper under them it helps lol the beige one. But still hate it and think the shapes smell better.

That's a long day. But glad you love it.

I like making the melts and shapes in bags better myself. Clams are just so stinking convenient right now with working a full time, 12 hour a day job. Hopefully when I retire I will switch to shapes and brittle only. The scent defiantly smells stronger in those.

I didn't realize you worked a full time long hour job. I don't know how you do that and this. You must never sleep. I find that the clams take longer because it's hard to see in them and I overfill lol There is one clam I would use if I could find it. It is cute and round with wedges but read it is from out of the country. I can't afford it.

Does anyone know if the ones from Maple street are PVC or PET? I just got an order in but don't see anything on the box. The ones from Fillmore do say PET and I'll order from them if the ones from Maple aren't PET.

I believe they are PET but either way they suck the scent out. Polypropylene is the kind that is good for the melts.

I use their clams and have noticed a funky smell at times but not with all oils. I noticed the same smell at times with other clams I used also. Where do you get yours from? I really would like to do shapes only or brittle in bags but clams are so convenient right now and I'd love to not have the funky smell!

I used all the clam shells and had them curing to sell. I had to throw all of them away that is a lot of waste of product and time. I had used their oils and they are very weak. I now make melts and use cello bags so much nicer and the scent throw is out of this world.

Wow that's so crazy! Was it the same dreaded skunky smell? I wish it wasn't so hit or miss especially when I'm always sure to pour below the recommended 170. I'm stumped. I just don't want to have to pop out every clam I make and sniff it to be sure Lol I feel like I can't un-smell it now😂

Yes it was and it was awful. I think they sell cheap for a reason. Their oils are so bad and weak I wouldn't sell or give away. I threw them away too. I had bought fresh from them. Never again. You do get what you pay for.
