  1. Hi All...something weird happened today & am hoping someone can answer this silly ?. In August I made up some 4oz slip tins, container wax, no additives, scented love spell. First time I've used that fo. Tested 10 days later 3 different tins to check my wicks & burn. From my notes I could get a great burn but very light hot throw. Wasn't impressed with the throw & kinda left the remaining others on a shelf thinking I'll burn them whenever. Put it down to, maybe not the best f/o and try another supplier. I even have in my notes that my family thought they "sucked" too & trust me they are honest - (ask me what my hubby thinks lily of the valley smells like). Well, today I hauled one of these puppies out and it's throwing like you wouldn't believe. So I went and grabbed another one & same thing. I thought long curing time wasn't necessary for throw in paraffin? Can candlenose last 6 months? or am I simply scent challenged? Any thoughts? Kellyo
  2. Great ? Candlebuddy, I've been searching too & have about a lb of "vinegar" smelling b-berries from searching for the right one. So far no luck...all smell like vinegar. I'm thinking of adding something like vanilla to the ones I have just to be able to do something with them to get rid of them. Kellyo

  4. Oh, you are so right about Lilac and it lingers doesn't it? I also cringe when I get asked for cinnamon buns. That one gives me the biggest headache Kellyo

  6. MMM...that mango papaya sounds good. Right now I'm in the upstairs hoping the hot apple pie scent burning will overpower the lingering lilac I poured on saturday. Kellyo

  9. Hi All - after "lurking" for a very, very long time, thought it was time to come out of the shadows & say hi & thanks to all. This forum has been a huge wealth of info to me. The knowledge here is amazing & the talent huge! I've been doing this for a couple of years and come back time & again to get the answer to yet another "ooops how did that happen" question. Thanks to you all for your generosity in sharing your knowledge. The more I do the more I realize I don't know much but am having a heck of a good time trying Kellyo
