I always do them in shades of a color. Like 4 drops, then 3 then 2 then 1 in 4 batches and mix together. Then a little mica and they really shimmer!

Can the beads be rescented when they lose their scent? Anyone tried it? I wish I a bag that had lost their scent to try it out.

I don't have an oven to use for clean up since I'm not in the house but I use a roaster. Papertowels on the bottom, set on 200 and it holds 3 lg pour pots, a small pour pot and all my mixing spoons. I just tip upside down and wipe out right before I use it. I have 8 so I can have some full to pour and the rest in the roaster. I also use it to melt the ends of tester jars, etc. I wish I had the room for 75 pour pots but I just don't.

I smelled the real thing the other day but $9 for a votive size - yikes? I haven't found it anywhere else yet, has anyone tried if from Save on Scents?

Thank you. I was going to the old site directly to the FO page. When I went to the home page I see they still say they aren't sure on the supplier end if they will be around or not. The supply site is under tbcandlesupplies (I think). I hope they sell the FOs to someone - there are a couple there I did well with. Their Carribean Pear is one of my best sellers.

What I hate is that it makes me not want to take a chance on any smallish supplier for fear my customers will love an oil and then the supplier will close up leaving me high & dry. And our smallish suppliers sometimes have such great noses.

Where did you see that T&B is OOB? I was just on their site and missed it.

Is the Lovely new for you? I am asking cuz I love the perfume and would love to match it in a candle and was curious how close it was. I don't order much from JS but the few I do order I love.

I just put in an order on fri for some Cashmere, pink bombshell, amber desires, more pink sugar, Lovely by sarah jessica parker and Frosted Pumpkin for my swap. Cant wait to smell a couple of them.

That is something I am always afraid of. Even just from one order to the next. I guess we have know our suppliers care enough to consider they could have a problem and check it out. If I had a supplier that wouldn't believe they could even possibly have a problem, I would have one less supplier as fast as I could replace those oils.

I use from The Candlemakers Store. They stick great but they aren't on a roll. They are on sheets. I think Greenleaf has the same ones also.

Could it be the Phthalates Free movement going on? Someone mentioned about a pipe tobacco scent that wasn't the same after the supplier changed to phthalates free.

YW I wish they would update their site with some pics of their products. The only way I find out they have something new is if they throw in a sample when I order.

I had a similar problem once but it turned out that the supplier had a problem with the oil from the mfg. Supplier made a couple candles and had the same results. I was able to return my oil.

That reply wasn't to you Beth, I haven't found them on the other sites mentioned either. Actually I haven't found them at TVG but got a sample of one and just got a price list yesterday.

I like that 6% rule but I will go to 8% before I give up. I use 464 in apoths and use 2 44C or 51C depending on the oil with great results. The ECOs were what I used in a previous blend but for some reason were just not working for me in the 464.

I think I'll pour a few with the LX, I like LX wicks and never even tried them in the apoths. Thanks for that tip.

Bummer. I got my last bunch of wax from them as they were the cheapest with shipping even though not close to me. Glad I still have enough for fall before I have to start searching again. Its sad to see these suppliers closing up but it's tough to make it these days.

No receipt for customer or signature in case they contest the charge? No thanks... but then the only problem I've ever had was someone who didn't remember the sale but did when I sent in the receipt with signature. Now if they had the kind like every other vendor has at the shows I do, where it prints 2 receipts and then you can download at the end...I'd be all over that.

Someone on TSR said they did that too. I can't remember her name but it is probably still there. It's bad enough to do it, but to go and tell about it?! I would be embarrassed if that's what it took to sell a candle.

Well, that didn't take long-lol. They are a MLM. I have never seen them at a show but I don't do too many shows and I guess I wouldn't be going to someone else's candle party.
