  1. I wick that jar with CSN 12 with Pink Grapefruit and it burn all the way with a Little hang-up at the bottom
  2. Does anyone know of any Supplier who sells the clear plastic lids for candles other then the votive s. Please let me know I need some soon

I did all my tests with the excel and make my decision I am chancing to Excel wax it is good with hot and cold throw and color and no frosting if you pour at the right temp and I do not warm my jars and last I do not cover my jars I live them on the counter:) And most important I can locally pick it up
  4. JacquiO Those are beautiful, now my question is how long do you thing they last. The reason I am asking is I have a big show coming up in August and I like to make some of them.
  5. Hey; Stella and everyone that uses C3 Wax. Do you pour at the same temp for Spring and Summer as you do in Winter or it chances with each seasons Please tell

I have been burning a few candles with C3 1/8 uv 1 tbs coconut oil and 6.3 fo with 3 different fos on a 12oz mason jar a 9 oz hex jar an 8 oz jj and CDN wick and HTP with an excellent throw and no soot BUT they mushroom. My question to all of you is how many will sell the candle like this and how many won't I would really like to know:)
  7. Kitn; I am in Canada to and I like Crisco for my soap. But when I try on the new Soap Calc they only have soybean oil. as veg shortening so how do you counted as I hope I am explain it OK; please let me know Thank you
  8. So! Top and Carebear what you are saying is when use Crisco count the crisco and soybean as 2 different oils SoapCalc am I right
  9. Hey! cybersix and tootie04 sorry for barging in on your you but how do you know if the wax you use is C1 or C3 can you please explain it for me
  10. Me To Please! Stella and Top! You both have more experience, including some experience people on the board then all of us newbies. I don't thing I would have try do do any candles Soy Or Palm with out everybody's pictures and explanation. :rockon:So please keep the good work coming

  12. Top or Stella I have a question that keeps bugging me you both saying that we have to wreck the palm pillar many times so it does not live any cavities. On the other hand we have to poured between 195 and 200 degrees into a warmed mold and cooled under a cardboard box. now my question is how can you wreck a pillar for several times, with out disturbing the heat of the pillar, Now I hope I don't sound like a nut :laugh2:but before I get in to making any Palm wax, again ether a container or a pillar, or anything to do with palm wax I would like to know everything and save it on a dick. I hope I explain my self OK! and understand. thank you

MarisAMTC I would like to apologize for not explaining my self better I was not trying to take the thread away from you and Autumn meadow I was trying to tell you that I fallow exactly your partners instructions and it work like a charm with the CBXL pouring at 110 what I was trying to tell you the thread got to big and some new people get confuse like me So again don't take it the wrong way:wink2:

I had to start a new thread I was get confused with the first thread Anyway I made 4 jars I heated the CBXl to 180 same scent same color different pour temp the two jars were pour @ 120 and the next two @ 110 I pour them last night about 16 hrs ago The two that I pour @ 120 are staring to frost and the two @ 110 no sings of frost yet my containers were at room temp and left them on the counter to set up I will take some pictures when they are at 48 hrs and keep my hands cross no frosting Autumn Meadow I thing maybe you got something there with the pour temp I let you know

  20. Nadiap Sorry to say I am not in the US I am in Canada and thank God I have 2 suppliers that have one each of the wax for about 15 minutes drive. But there's lot of things we don't have here and I mean Lots like the CDs and Reddi Glow and Palm wax.... Plaese don't get me started:laugh2:
