  1. Something to keep in mind from my experiences is the room temp that it's being poured in as well. I had issues all summer long not really figuring out the issue but now that it's winter a 185 mix temp with a 155 pour temp works perfectly. Something to think about.
  2. If you find it too bothersome you can use a heat gun on the jar
  3. Just a heads up for Flaming they should not be affected. We use the same manufacturer that they do and when speaking to the owners at a trade show this month it was the first thing I asked about. He said they stockpile a 6 month supply of their aromaticchemicals and do not suspect they will be impacted. He said there is a slight possibility it there might be some out of stocks for a short period at the end of the 6 months but they are in no way reformulating any products.
  4. I would just make sure your seal is tight and use plumbing tape, same principal as plumbing it will create a tigher seal so liquid doesn't escape.
  5. Currently using a 270# waterjacket for melting the wax from flake form and then a 60 # direct heat with pump attachment for pouring after scent is mixed. currently looking for a 300#+ size as our current larger melted is causing a bottleneck of only being able to heat enough wax for 600 or so candles per day. We've only bough used melters as I've never paid more the half of retail cost this way buy on the flip side now I have to wait for a 300#+ to pop up before I can buy
  6. Just got the gun from rite here myself. It's super helpful and has allowed us to up production but to be honest if I had to do it again, I'd probably go with a different company. The gun leaks after the trigger is released unless it is perfectly level and their automation system is bull. Good luck trying to figure out the time aspect back to what you were using before if you change volume. Still better then hand pouring but frustrating for the money.
  7. Give me about a year and you'll have a candle supply company back in Colorado. We're in the process of moving ourselves and business out to the Denver area and plan on filling that hole in the market.
  8. My favorite thing about flaming candle is the tops they give you for your LB jars of fragrance that come with a flip lid opening so you don't have to screw to the top on and off each time.
