When I start making CP soap I found this ilustrative site with CP process information comparing the saponification process with a goat field that was view by dogs o something like that...it was a very curious way to show what happens during saponification...now I'm trying to check this site again and I have been searching in the web...but with not results...can't find "this" site...have anyone see it and can give me address? Ok...here is one for you container candle making people...last Friday a co-worker was speaking with me about candles...he bought one from me some weeks ago and he was glad with it (I almost do pillars)...then he told me that he bought one about six month ago to another lady but was on container and since he open the jar the scent was pretty good and lasting...he told me that the scent last all the candle life...ok...I tough that he may be telling me the my candle scent didn't last that long but maybe the only one that thing like that is he cuz I haven't had a concerns before...well...what I'm think is that I may go for some containers too...but since I haven't done this before I was thinkong on which scents are the most long lasting by experience in people here? Wanda

I has experience something similar to that and I use 1.5 PPO and it was all a matter of the FO...I always used that 1.5 (FO or EO) but when I used Vainilla FO (no lucky witht this fragance..I had try about 3 or 4 diffenrent FO) I have that seep results...and also happend with a Peak Blueberry Muffin FO...so I had learns that some time with some FO thats happens...lol...finally I learn my leasson...now I try to buy FO that are listed in the FO Rock in CP and in that way I go for sure Wanda

You should add preservative cuz even do you are not adding water when you are "manufacturing" (and probably lotion base and liquid soap DO have water) when you use it you may be adding water during cleaning rutine with your hands. HTH Wanda

I used to work for Olay Company about 12 year ago (please don't calculate my age...lol)...and I used Oil of Olay face creams..but now that I know all ingredients that are use on those creams I'm looking for a more light, natural and non-greasy face lotion...so there must be a good recipe out there that I can use..I have a combine face skin...I was thinking in something using monoi oil...emul...hemp...ewax..glicerine...aloe gel...some cyclo (for a less greasy feeling)...some polysobe-20...maybe some citric acid...uhmmm just brainstorming...lol Wanda

Last week I did this kind of body mouse...it was a more like wash gel...not a lotion..the think here that I gave to family to test it...and everybody wants a 16 oz bottle...but since it was a testing batch I just did a 1 lb batch...annnnd..in my weekend paper cleaning a lost the recipe...and now I don't where i get it...I did a serch in CT and don't found the recie I'm looking for...any one tha did this and can share it with me? oh..this is so grgrgrgr...I found am GO and now I don't have the recipe ...ufff Wanda

I had so many customer asking me for vainilla scent buuuuut: 1. Haven't found any vainilla FO suitable for CO soap...any one with idea on this? 2. I get Wellington soap vainilla non darkening...but is not true..it dark and accelerate. 3. I use it in a lotion and one customer ask me for an "after tastes" like rrubber. So I'm looking for a good supplier for vainilla FO that can be used specially at CP soap.

I did the soap even do the FO was not listed as PEAK FO for CP Soap....annnnnnnnnd everybody know the results....snif..snif...uffff...good oils on the trash...lol..it separate and discolor too

I need to do a CP soap for two little girls (boss girls) so I was wondering wich FO I have in hand to make this soap and that little girls will like...I have watermelon from Peak...but I don't want to ruin another batch with a wrong Fo that will not work on CP....have anyone know if this FO works? To those that had done liquid soap. I want to try this but cuz I on Puerto Rico is expensive to order KOH and ship it to PR and some time I get a NO asnwer for shipping this to me. I had found a chemical supplier in Puerto Rico but they only have KOH at 45%. If someone know, can I use this to make liquid soap? TIA Wanda
