I had been making soap for about three year...In these three years I had try soap boxes with home made labels which were pretty good and nice but expensive for me. Then I move to shrink wrapping with label (since I had a Cinderella obcession) the labels were done with transparencies and process in a Xyron machine, which were expensice as well...so I move to a home made cigarrete band. This seens to be the less expensive alternative if I don't add my time payment...which turned to be a lot doing this procedure...ok...what I will like to know what had work best for you soapmaking people. I'm thinking on moving again to labels but this time using transparent labels...Where I can buy labels with good glue? I will also used the labels for malibu lotion bottle and aluminium body mist, where the transparency didn't work at all due to peeling or no-sticking to the bottles. PD: Sorry about my english...spanish is my firts language

I used a tea light tapped wick and since I live in Puerto Rico water is not to much cool...I may say is naturally warm. I don't see the tap from the top view so maybe I set the wick in the very botton..maybe that's the problem, the tap is allowing the water to come out. I will try not to push tapped wick to the botton.

What kind of wax I made use for floating candles. I did a trial with pillar wax but when I lighted it and it start to burn I get a hole in te center and the water turn it off in less than 15 min. WHat I did wrong?...Oh, I use a tar mold with about 1/2" inch high and 1.5" dia.

I cam buy it locally at a natural store but that is also very expense...I founf 4 oz. for $6.00...and i was trying to find where I can buy it in a gallon or something like that. Can I used the glicerine that is used in bakery?...someone know?

I found some glicerin at the Chemistry Store but the only have UPS as shipping method and the charges are scary...I check and order that was a total of aprox. $28.00...but since it was glicering and SDLA the shipping charges where $48.00...ufff...I need to buy glicerin but maybe somewhere that they use USPO as shipping method. TIA

I did it to...and it separate to...I'm using it for myself cuz a gave some for trial and people did't like the oil separation...I touhgt it was cuz I live in the tropic and due to temperature...but now I see more people have the same problems...wonder what's happening?

For those that make lotions. A customer came to me yesterday asking for a lotion that can be edible. I do edible oil with some edible oil and flavor oil...but I haven't don't lotions...my questions is, if ewax and steraic acid can be ingested? Wanda

Hi…”my customer” that love cinnamon ask me for a soap with cinnamon fragrance...I told her that cinnamon is irritant to skin, but she told me that she use raw cinnamon for so long time and never irritate her skin…so the question is…is there any cinnamon FO that can be use for CP soap?...and if yes…where I can get it?
