    Hi all.... Are you getting sick of me yet? Lol I was just wondering if one is better than the other for any particular reason between liquid dye and the block dyes or is it just personal preference? Thank you all in advance!

    Thank you all... Glory I use IGI 4627 for my containers and a blend of 4627 and 4625 for melts. I Talk I don't quite know what you mean using the salt and FO?? Do you sprinkle salt in the tart warmer then just put some FO in or..?? Lol sorry I'm a little lost... Do you all just pour SMALL containers first just to see how the wax and FO go hand and hand or ??

    How on earth do you all test a bunch of new scents to see what they smell like OOB without actuallyputting them in a candle ...waiting for it to cure for 1 or 2 weeks ...then burning... Am I just impatient for not wanting to wait that long or is there a better way?? Lol I am reading through y'alls posts on FO recommendations and right about now I'm thinking it will be the year 3016 before I get through the list I have if I have to go through the steps above! Lol and God forbid I come across anymore recommendations that sound tempting! Lol you guys are the BOMB by the way!!

    Wow there's so much info available through you guys !! I truly feel like a sponge!! From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!! Believe me I am filling up a notebook with everything I am being told! You guys are invaluable to someone just starting out! Thank you so much. I do hope to get into selling locally and do have a bit of business experience under my belt so I'm really excited about the possibilities but don't want to go too fast and make a bunch of mistakes and I SURELY don't want to embarrass any of the amazing chandelers that have come before me... I hope to make you all proud!

    Yes !!! I wish I would have read this before I poured today! I have been wicking up because I'm using igi 4627 and I've read to wick up because of its viscosity but what you said TOTALLY makes sense!! I am using a 2.5" diameter and 4" high container for right now ... That's AWESOME I'm so so glad I asked!!

    If my container is taller than it is wide ... Would y'all recommend wicking up? Or would it matter?

    For the ones that use wood anything... Do you ever have a problem with scent cross contamination (for lack of a better phrase) ?

    You rock! I just ordered an LX wick sample pack a few days ago so I'm excited to try to see if I can nail it down... I LOOOOOVE the scent throw both hot AND cold with my mix of this and 4625 for melts so hoping to equate the same results into candle form!!

    I thought it was just test one scent from each company with your wax/container/wick.

    I am wondering what everyone does for their standard cure time before testing? I am using igi 4627 for containers and a mixed 4627 and 4625 for clam melts. TIA
