  1. My belief is that the weeping is salt from the soap absorbing water from soap and surroundings. I believe so, cause the stronger I make the brine, the wetter the soap gets. If I put a fan on, it dissapears. The liquid feels more like salt water than glycerin. The wet disappear in a few weeks, where glycerin normally remain on the soap as beads.
  2. You can use any recipe, with brine instead of water. You don't have to change anything but the water. Same oils, same SF, same additives but, never go higher than 20% brine wich is 20% salt of water (not % of oils) I've made several Brine-soaps from 5% to 20% salt, I do prefer the 5% for my very sensitive skin though.
  3. Yes - Jasmin or lavenderscented coconutsoap. Have tried a little EO in vinagre softener too. I am just happy with unscented today. Try counting, how many different scents you sniff in every day. I was surprised.
  4. I have used 3% lavender and Jazmin soap in my DIY Laundry Detergent. No scent after washing. Tried a little on a cloth in the dryer but tea towels and cleaning cloth that leaves fatty streaks are not ok, so no scent here.
