Ive tried it; found it to be a bit pricey though. I liked the texture, but it didnt have very much "lasting power" on the skin. I had put it in some two ounce spray bottles, and started out with the recommended dosage of FO, and then finally ended up having to do 50/50 FO to base for the smell to stay on your skin longer than an hour. And, even then my testers and I noticed that it still didnt last as long as the less expensive body splash bases. That is just my experience with it; maybe somebody has had better luck!

Hi! I came up the idea for this quilt (40" x 60") on Monday night. Went to Joann's on Tuesday night, started sewing on Wednesday afternoon, and completed the front 24 hours later. I dont even own a sewing machine, this is comletely sewn by hand. I made it for my living room. The back will be solid black.

What do you guys think?

I say go for it!!! Ive gotten so crazy with "inventing" FO mixing combos; i know have a hard time trying to use just a "straight" FO anymore!!! I Have found some GREAT combos when Ive mixed in a coffee FO!!! Good luck, and i bet it will smell wonderful!

I think Lonestar also has SFIC soap base!

Try the Pumpkin from Mcsoy; i found it works great with several different brands of soy wax.

Autumn Afternoon?

Ok, I recently got a paypal ATM/debit card. I chose not to have my bank account as a back-up funding source (because I dont want my fiancee to have access). My question is, can I deposit cash/checks into my Paypal account using the card at an actual ATM machine and have it be deposited directly into my Paypal account? Or, do I have to deposit it into my bank account, transfer it to my Paypal account, to give me a balance on the card?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Peaks Blackberry Sage!!! Great seller for me and also a personal favorite!!! Sells well for me in candles, lotion, soap, and air freshners. I have a Blackberry Sage air freshner in my car and it smells so good!

Ill also vouch for the lack of stickiness in their wick stickers. I recently received some from C&S; poured 23 candles yesterday at varying temps (some were poured as low as 100 degrees), and all of them came loose. REALLY infuriating!!!!

I am also looking for the Grass by Gap. Ive already checked SOS, and Brighter Scents (which is where i got Dream by Gap). I also did a geocities fragrance finder search and couldnt locate it. If anybody finds it, PLEASE let me know!!!

I also use soy, and totally adore their Pomegranate!!!

I added FO at 150 degrees; poured at 125. Shaved off slivers off my dye blocks and then swirled them with a chopstick. Let them melt for about 5 to 10 minutes (too long and they would melt into a solid color candle). Then, stuck them in the fridge for 30 minutes, and then let them cool at room temp the rest of the way. Pretty simple, once I figured out not to let them cool on their own (w/o the fridge). After my test burn, spending time in the fridge didnt seem to affect the burn or scent throw. Im going to try some more soon! I recommend not using more than 3 different colors as it could result in an ugly-looking mess of a candle! HTH, Linaya

Ive been messing around with this "streaking" technique for months; finally think I got the method down! Just not too sure what I think of the look. The one on the left is scented "Angel", and the one on the right is scented "Jamaica Me Crazy".

So, honest opinions, does it look stupid?

Hi! I have been working on some cool baby scents lately. My latest is a mix of Strawberry Jam, Jamaica Me Crazy, and Bedtime Bath (J&J). Problem is, I cant think of a cute name for it. Basically, its strawberries, tropical fruits, lavender, chamomile, and baby powder. I had thought of "Berry Island Baby", but it didnt sound right.

Anybody got any ideas?

See, I also had thought it was weird to post a phone number if they dont really want people to call. I have had a problem with them quite a few times, but I love their FO's so much, I cant stop ordering from there! The latest issue was, I placed an order last wednesday. Never got a shipping comfirmation email. So yesterday, i emailed them and asked what the status of my order was. They said they had a problem with the address coming up in their system as invalid, and they put the whole order on hold. AFTER they charged my credit card. Never once tried to contact me through email or anything about the address. So, I gave them the correct address and they said they would send out the order today. Problem is, it was a gift for a friend of mine in another state that is leaving for a month-long vacation on Saturday, and she really wanted the take this stuff with her and now it wont be there before she leaves.

But, they are the ONLY supplier for some FO's I use; so what else can I do, ya know? I always try to give suppliers the benefit of the doubt if there is a problem, but this kind of ticked me off that they didnt even try contacting me and they had already ran my credit card through.
