  1. Very nice candle. The pin holes are caused from pouring too hot or heating your molds too hot before pouring. Ask me how I know...

  9. You know how you have all these little containers with bits of wax in them, well I gathered all mine up, melted them all together, added some black dye, took the wire brush to my finished candle. I think it's kinda cool looking. Doesn't smell great with all that mixture but I'll hang on to it awhile then toss it. I guess I was just bored...lol:smiley2:

  14. I,ve used Canwax several times and I received my orders in 4 days (Ontario to Nova Scotia) so thats not too bad. I did find SJ doesn't always answer my e-mails though, but she has some great products IMO.
  15. Hi just wondering if any of you fellow Canadians know if there is a candle supply store in Montreal. I usually order from Canwax in Ontario but I'm tring to save the shipping cost to Nova Scotia. She's going to Montreal on vacation in July. I'm looking to get 3 cases of wax which is prolly like $100.00 to ship, so that would be a great savings. Thanks Chrisie AKA Nanchris
  16. I like them !!! Good for them. BUT... did you notice the wet spots on the purple l'occasion candle...lol. :rolleyes2

  18. I just e-mailed RA about shipping cost to Nova Scotia for 6lbs, they said between $25-$30 for the shipping. That's not counting the duty one may incur.... Sad too, cause the shipping never turns out to be that high. By mail anyway!!!
  19. I love the look also. I have that mold and it is a bugger to get out. I only used the mold twice because of it, I didn't know it would get easier...lol. I LOVE your candle !!!!
