It's my favorite container wax.
-
RRD55 it is.
This wick has performed beautifully , six different fo's.
-
Yes, I have tried so many wicks with these pillars, the rrd's are working great.
No trimming.
-
Try RRD's if you haven't already.
they are working great for me in feather palm.
Just a suggestion.

Hey, I can get that kind of mottling by adding steric , about 3 tbsp to three lbs of 1343 plus .5 ozs fo per pound. I pour at about 165 into room temp. molds. Oh I also add about a tsp of uv additive per lb.

Are you guys getting full melt pools.

Doing 3 x 3.5 pillars with Feather Palm
Pulling out my hair. I have read all the threads by top, Stella, Henry K, Sabrina etc...
Just ordered zincs 51's to try next.
The CSN and RRD's fizzle out. I am so done with csns.
I am buring one with rrd 55 in it now, started out strong but 2 hours in it's fizzling out.
After the zincs I guess it's going to be # 3 square braid or a fire starter lol.
Looking for tips , tricks, advice , or a shot of whiskey.
I am pouring at 190, these pillars are stunning but I am going nuts with the wicking.
Thanks in advance

Prarieannie used to put unscented hand soap in her mp to boost lather.
Might try that just to get through what you have.
That stinks. Are you adding anything to it that might bring the lather down.

All beautiful. Loving the variety of colors.
-
Stunning, I really like them!

Oh and do something like
25 lard
25 Coconut
45 Olive
5 Castor

Try making batches bigger than a lb. I never make a batch smaller than three lbs.
I really think that may help.

Very nice candles. How do you like the Paris Twilight FO? Love the soaps too.
I'm not crazy about it but my testers love it.
Thanks guys.

Just run your business with integrity. Treat your customers the way you would like to be treated as a customer.
For me, it just takes away from the enjoyment I get from producing a product that I love producing.
Stay off the social networks.
And do not get into a debate with a customer via email. Keep it simple.

I do HP in the oven at 170 degrees.
Yes! Vanillas will turn your soap brown. Yuck! lol

If you go to youtube there are three videos, Making soap ball 1, 2, and three.

Maybe try a lager recipe, 2 or 3 lbs.

hi i didn't read through all of this so I apologize if someone else already made a comment on this. But I looked up the Liquid Par Optima and it says it is for lotions that don't use water, but this does. It is still ok to use?
That information is incorrect.

I used her in the early days. She was very nice to work with, nice work, I was happy with her.

Fnwl?
in Melt & Pour
Hi Tara, they are the closest supplier to me as well, I don't order from them.
It is not cost effective.

Using a heat gun is also a great way to make sure that any of the holes caused by the original pour are filled in , if you will.
