i thought a pump would be easier that way you arent really touching the bottle at all, well not as much as if you have to pick up a bottle and open the top. This way you can keep it fairly clean.

a pump style bottle for massage oils? I just remember buying massage oils and having the bottle get all slick and gross. Thought this might prevent that and be easier for dispensing. Thanks.....

I am very VERY new to the b&b world, and have been on here for hours today looking at different recipes, packaging, and other posts. My question is about the oils that have nuts in them, sweet almond oil, macad. nut etc. If someone has a nut allergy would this effect them the same?? Is it better to substitue nut oils for something non nutty when possible? Vitamin E etc or other oils that would mainly be suggested to substitue them. Thanks in advance.

So where do you get the recipes to try making your own bases?? I am just trying to venture into lip balm/gloss and wanted to try both: bases and my own but have no idea where to start. Bath and body is WAY out of my element!!!

Weddings can be costly but pay it. If you want nice candles, pay the price for them, if you want to be cheap and get dollar store candles that are going to drip and burn wrong go ahead. If you want good quality candles pay for them. I have done lots of weddings and have never had a problem. I just did my brother in laws wedding: 115 favors- acetate boxes with 4 oz vanilla tin candles with labels on the top, petals inside the box and matches with little labels on them, 200 floating candles for centerpieces butterflies and flowers, 3 wax wedding cakes for the head table, and 3 hurricanes where people sign the book. It took a bit to get everything together but they loved it all. DONT EVER SELL YOURSELF short, prices are what they are for a reason, good candles take testing and time and people need to appreciate that!!!

I LOVE dye chips!! I would be lost without them. I had to make 200 ivory votives for a wedding and used dye chips and they were all the same shade of ivory!!!
