    I agree with TOMH, too many variables...pick one wax and one jar, start with one FO and test different wicks until you get what you want then move on to another FO.

    is it like a weird swirled looking pattern on the top? I use J223 and sometimes I get it and I just hit it with my handy dandy heat gun and it's gone.

    Ivory dye chip, just one pp of wax usually does the trick since the FO makes the wax a bit off white already.

    well at least i inspired some creativity....the person who requested it said they received a candle scented with it and loved it and now they want more...guess ill have to order some of both and test.

    I've tried the FOF and can't find this fragrance. I had someone request it and was just wondering if anyone had any ideas, maybe mixing cedar and sandalwood?

    Anything floral also makes me sick. I had major problems while I was pregnant, I stoped making candles the entire 9 months and then some. I had to do some for my sisters wedding(I was 7 mos pregnant), boy was it rough. Now that the baby is a year old I am back to candle making and back on CT! I really missed it.

    Although I don't make pillars very often, I'm not a huge fan of the seamless molds. I personally prefer the seamed molds. IMO it makes a prettier candle, nice and shiny.

    I don't use the cutters to make cutouts on candles i use them in a cookie sheet similar to making wax chunks. I then use the cutouts as embeds in pillars or sometimes as a topper.

    Yup....and you can order jelly Jars online including shipping much cheaper than they are in places like walmart.

    I LOVE MY HEAT GUN! Look out for that tip though, gets red hot and will burn your entire hand in less than a second (ask me how I know). As for scared babies, the heat gun does make noise like a hair dryer, not as loud though so hopefully your little ones will not be fearful of it.

    I once bought a case of J223 and 2 of the slabs were full of water, apprently this is a common problem.
