    Ok don't laugh, but I use cans. Those 16 oz cans that have vegetables in them. After I make a big pot of vegetable beef soup I was and reuse the cans. I use them for paraffin that is all ready scented or a small order for the soy. You can bend the can to make a little lip to pour out of. Like I said don't laugh because that keeps my pouring pot clear for another batch.

    I use the HTP wicks for my soy candles and they work fine. And as far as what to add to soy, nothing. There is no need to add anything to soy, so don't waste your money.

    I just wanted to commint on the colors I really like them and I love how the top layer kind of runs off the edges on the candle.

    I am always looking for the jj or canning 8oz. jars. I asked at wal-mart in asheboro and they told me they couldn't order any for me. I am wondering why some wal-marts will go out of there way to help people and others don't give a ratsa%&s about if you buy there or not! I am so tired of wal-mart they are the only ones left in asheboro they run out Roses, K-mart, so now they just charge what ever the H#%& they want to. Sorry for getting on the soap box I just needed to vent.

    Laura when you say a big order what are we talking about here? Just a suggestion do you have testers? If so give out a couple and ask them to burn them and tell you if these ones burned as well as the others. And maybe that would let you know that it is just the bigger house issue for this batch anyway. new to all of this but just an idea. Good Luck!

    You don't use vybar in soy. I was doing that when I first started and I believe it was TOP who straightened me out. You don't really have to add anything to soy it is a waste of money. So I stopped and no difference noticed at all.:smiley2:

    I was looking for some instructions on the ballon candles but I only found one old link and it didn't tell how to do it. I am really interested in making or trying to make some of these. Any help would be appreciated!
