@Ashley D The ABSOLUTE longest-lasting fragrance for me is Fillmore's Nutmeg Ginger. I have one in my car that I put in there last September, and it still is giving off a good scent especially with the sun heating it up now. Could smell it as well throughout the winter with the heater on although not as strong as when the sun heats it.

Do you use the same kind of air freshener as Belinda?

Great advice! I wish I would have done this too but I thought soy was the way to go. If only I knew this 14 yrs ago!

We have a clone of the Peak fragrance Clean Cotton. I'm going to PM you a link.
Hi!
Will you share where you got it? :)

Where do you all buy your labels? I usually bought them at Planet Label but looking for a new place. Do you print out your own labels or have them printed out for you? Needing a change. Thanks much for any help!

Good for you! Hope you do GREAT!!!

Soap making is not unlike candle making. Imagine making a candle that looks like the pic in the OP... how many steps? A gazillion, with each posing a different risk in the process. Might be fun to do once, but not as a production without some equipment
That’s why I embrace the pure beauty of natural candles (I know they are not natural but I’m going with it lol

You all are so AMAZING! I have no clue what your talking about but it is just unreal how smart ya are with soap making!

I'm so excited! My Just Scent order came in last night. I'm pouring every one of them today! Actually I've been up since 3:00 this morning and have already started on them. A couple I should have ordered more! ha ha ha...
Here are my reviews on sniffing from the bottles before making them.
SMORES: Daisymay I hope your reading this! You know the McCalls Campfire Marshmallow we have been looking for endlessly it seems like forever? Well, OMG, I swear this is a dupe of McCalls. It's totally so spot on! I hope it performs and smells as great as it does sniffing from the bottle. I should have ordered 5 pounds of this...I can't stand that I'm going have to wait 2 weeks for curing. I'm going to order 2 pounds of this today as I only got 1 ounce of it. I can always make melts from the oil if candles don't work out. OMG, FINGERS CROSSED!
AVEDA ROSEMARY MINT: Wow, is this ever nice! I'm trying to get one just like Rustic Escentuals Rosemary Mint as theirs is out of stock because of the citrol shortage. It is supposed to be a dupe of Aveda's. I have a store account I'm bringing in new scents to her and she would go crazy over this one.
ROSEMARY MINT: This is similar to Aveda's. But I like the Aveda's one much better.
VANILLA BOURBON: I'm loving this.
TOASTED COCONUT DONUT: Smell a little synthetic to me....is light also.
JELLY GLAZED DONUT: Is nice - a little light but nice
ORANGE CARAMEL CRUMBLE: I am loving this!
I will be waiting IMPATIENTLY on your review after burning! I don’t dare get excited 😜 or maybe I should!! Thanks so much for your review!

@Darbla Let me just start by saying their FO’s are ASTOUNDING IMO! I already buy from so many suppliers and didn’t want another supplier but ended up with some samples from a very good friend of mine. I put them to the test and was completely blown away with their quality! They are now in my top 3 suppliers! And I buy from many suppliers. 😬
I too thought the Moonworks FO’s were dupes but they are not. They are The “ORIGINAL MOONWORKS FRAGRANCE OILS”. PFO BOUGHT MOONWORKS and they are now the only company to offer the ORIGINALS and they are far different than any dupes I have tried! I absolutely love Morning sunrise it’s stellar and throws wonderfully in parasoy. I didn’t have trouble with it throwing at all. Bella is one of my personal favorite FO’s EVER! If you need any other suggestions LMK. Their FO’s are like the magic secret to my wax! Anything I make with their oils just blows my customers away and keeps them coming back for more! 💜
Have you ever tried MW in soy? I’ve never ordered from PFO but sounds like you love them so much that I want to!!!

I think it would be fantastic in soap, the dry notes just make it seem to be a perfect marriage to scrub a dub dub with - But I love most all green clean scents though - even ones people turn their nose up to 😂
I really like it and will be testing it in wax now that I found it

Hmmm. I’ve sold it after a month and told people to wait a couple of weeks — that it’s very fresh. Feel best holding it for 2-3 months. And personally like it after 5!!!
5 months to get a good HT?

It is a night blooming flower that is used a lot in perfumes. Google what does tuberose smell like and you’ll want to try it!
Not perfumy to me. A very elegant floral.
Oh I’ll give that one a try!! Thanks so much!

I like florals, not crazy about them, and I don’t like when they’re too perfumey or powdery. French Market seems to be a crowd pleaser because it has all the popular floral notes: gardenia, roses, magnolia, and tuberose.
Speaking of tuberose, NG has the best tuberose fragrance! Midnight Tuberose. It’s a very high end floral scent.
I’ve never even heard of Tuberose? Is it perfumey?

@Daisymay66 I listed some for Belinda earlier. Definitely try the apple butter pumpkin. They introduced a lot of pumpkin fragrances last fall. I bought samples of all of them.
French Market is my favorite floral fragrance ever. A nice blend of many flowers and not perfumey at all. I’ve used it in soy, paraffin, and palm with success.
Oh super! Thanks much! I didn’t see this so I put a post asking for any recommendations. Thanks much for sharing the French Market scent. I’m not much of a flowery kinda girl but would love a couple to add to mine line this year!

Thinking of giving DP a try. Any others to justify the shipping? Pumpkin Seeds & Oud? Butternut Pumpkin? Or any favorites? I tried Lonestar only once a very long time ago and must of picked a bunch of misses instead of hits

@Daisymay66 I have only tried it in feather palm for wax melts. It threw really well and was one of my best sellers this winter.
When people said “I don’t like pumpkin” I would ask “Do you hate it?” If they said no, I had them smell it and everyone loved it!
If people who don’t like pumpkin will buy it...I say that’s a winning fragrance!
Not sure how anyone could NOT like Pumpkin YUMMY!!!! Any others that are really good as long as I’m gonna try it?

Oh crap! LOL I’ve been doing so good not ordering more oils. But this is screaming my name What kind of wax have you tried it in?

I haven't tried that one form NG, sorry! I have not had the best results with their oils in candles, although I have many of theirs that I love in soap.
It looks to me like you have some great bakery scents already! I absolutely count H&Gs House as a bakery, and I would count the Drunken Pumpkin and the Lemon Poppy one too. And the Blueberry Cobbler! I think you have more bakery than I do, if you count my ten varieties of cinnamon donuts/strudel/bread/buns/sticks as all one thing. 😂
Drunken Pumkin?? Never heard of that
Strongest fragrance oils for aroma bead ornies?
