I was stuck next to a couple of Pink Zebra reps at a local fair this summer. They didn't know a lot about their product, told people they only needed to use a small amount in their warmers and it would last for 30 days. They also told everyone their product was all natural. I let everyone know that my products were made with soy and palm wax, however I do use frangrance oil and dyes, so in reality my products are not all natural. I also told my customers that it would depend on a lot variables how long the scent would last. I had a lot,lot more business and sold a lot more! I walked away honest and happy!

Where did you find coconut wax? Interesting would like to try that!

I was at a local fair a few weeks ago, and was placed beside a couple of Pink Zebra consultants. They were telling people that all they had to do is place a few of their beads in their warmer and it would last for 30 days! I have scented dots as part of my line too, but no way can I get a month out of the scent! The funny thing was, they had a couple of burners going. But people could smell my melts, candles and dots without a burner when walking toward my booth! I know I can get a lot more hours out of my scents in my room at school, but not nearly as long at home with all the traffic, and other smells such as cooking, washer, dryer, dishwasher all of those things throw a scent too! I think, the same as the posts above, it depends on the place the melts are being used. I also tell my customers there are a lot different factors that will effect how long their scent will last.

I add FO around 180, and pour about 160.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I do use both block and the liquid depending on what I'm making and what shade I'm trying to create. It usually only happens with the pesky reds! I will stir,stir,stir! I have not had a customer notice it, but I do, and I'm afraid someone might and think it might be mold or who knows what! And I sure don't want that! Thanks again everyone!

What wattage are the scentsy warmers? I use feather and sparkle palm wax in my warmer from Wally World and have not had problem at all. Most of my warmer's 15 watts.

I use eco PB in my melts. I have noticed that on my melts I color red.... small brown spots form at the bottom after a few days. I don't notice it on my other colors just the red. Could this be mold. My other colors I tend to get what looks like molting or frosting. I'm just concerned that this could be mold. But I don't know why I would get mold on my melts. I need HELP!!!!!

I love the too! Whenever I have problem, I call them and they are so helpful! They are superstars in my book!

I have the orange chili pepper from CS, and I love,love,love it. Everyone I let try it or buy it loves it too. My 14 year old son does not like it, but I was burning it the other day and he didn't know what it was and said "hey, that smells pretty good what is it?"

Thank you Steve, I will start looking for some LX. One more question for you, I am thinking probably a size 14, I came across one website that said size 18, I really don't know wicks very well, but know even less than nothing about LX. Cupcakes are freestanding on heat resistant plate, forgot to mention.

What is the best wicks and the best size of wick to use in cupcake candles? I am using: Eco PB, and for the wick I have tried the Eco 4,6&8. The 8 was way to big, the 6 seems to be to big too, but I really didn't get as much HT from the 4. Need HELP!
