Pretty sure I have maybe 9 oz or so of that in my stock room. It is over a year old, so likely prior to last reformulation. Definitely enough to have duped. How much are you looking for?

I still have some as I bought a ton before it was discontinued because a wholesale account uses it but now they want a huge order and I will be using all of my supply up. I have never had anything duped, how do I go about it?

    Thanks,

@Sarah S, I love those names! I was looking to rename Autumn Leaves from CW because it has a Christmas/Winter smell to me too. @kfintoni, why do you want to rename it? I always thought woolen blanket was a comforting name.

Autumn Leaves is a huge seller for me but once December hits no one will pick it up because of the name. To me it smells like pine tree sap, the sticky stuff you get on your fingers when handling your tree. I rename it Rustic Pine for this time of the year.

    I like that!

    Maybe Grey Flannel?

    Snuggle Up?

    Fire light and Kisses?

    Winter Getaway?

Is it the WB from RE? That is a beautiful fragrance!

Yes it is the one from RE. I have never used it before and needed to order some other scents and I hate paying shipping on only a few pounds so I added that one.

  4. Happy Thanksgiving everyone,

I was curious if anyone has successfully renamed Woolen Blanket? I am looking for a great name that sells. It is a nice masculine scent but I am trying to come up with something warm and comforting. I was thinking Warm and Cozy Cozy Winter Night. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

  5. I have been getting their wax for years and the shipping was better than most. Last year I found a place local that carries my wax and I was doing the happy dance. A few times a year I drive down fill the van and drive home. I did the math and for every 4 boxes I am getting the 5th free with the shipping I am saving.

  6. Hello everyone,

I am looking for some name suggestions. I am trying to rename Boozy Bites from JS. Here is the scent description.

Bourbon infused marshmallows - old fashioned goodness meets the hipster revolution.  Top notes of melted butter, mimosa and hints of coconut.  Middle notes of Kentucky Bourbon, sweet fluffy marshmallows and confectionary sugar.  Bottom notes of crushed vanilla, soft amber and musk.

I am trying to avoid any name with Marshmallow in it as I cannot seem to sell anything with Marshmallow in the name.

    Thanks,

    Karen in MA

  7. Good morning everyone. I am wondering if anyone has used anything that is similar to TFC's Autumn Flannel. They are currently out of stock and I poured the last of it over the weekend. The scent description is below. I love the fragrance and it is a huge seller for us. I have done a search but have not found anything similar. I have a call into to them to see when it would be back in stock but thought I would check here.

    Thanks,

    Karen in MA

    • Top - vanilla bean, almond, caramel
    • Middle - coriander, ginger, bay leaf, clove, cinnamon
    • Bottom - leather, amber, tonka, smoky woods, cashmere musks
  8. Hello everyone,

I need a bit of help. I am looking for an already premixed Lemongrass and lavender Fragrance. I guess I made a few candles in this scent last year and sold them at a market. The customer is looking for some more. Since I am basically lazy when mixing fragrances I am almost certain I purchased this premixed. I see that Candle Cocoon sells one but I have no record of ever purchasing from them. I have gone through so many old emails looking for an invoice with this on it. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I might have gotten it?

    Thanks,

    Karen in MA

  9. I am right there with all of you. I love my logo but really need a good tag line. I am also redoing my web site from the ground up and the colors I am choosing are a struggle. I have seen such clever tag lies out there and think why didn't I think of that. One I have found to be very clever recently is a guy from the Cape and it is "biggest wick on the Cape" I am taking any and all suggestions on a tag line.

Well, I'm getting ready to place another order from Fillmore.

I have pretty much all their scents now....I love their stuff!

I use 464 and was wondering if anyone has some reviews on the following scents I have in my shopping cart.

    Berry Triffle

Avocado Cilantro (Seems like this might be really nice but light)

Lavender, Sage and Rosemary (my one account this right up her alley and sounds nice to me)

Sea Salt and Peony (I'm not a floral person but I see a lot of sea salt fragrances out there)

    Blueberry Muffin

Vanilla Mint (Now I got a sample of this and made a candle and it is really quite beautiful) so I'm ordering a pound of it.

Mayan gold (The name sounded nice...lol)

Pumpkin Spice Chutney (Sounds like me but I don't know what a chutney is)

Sweet Tobacco Vanilla (I'm having a hard time selling Tobacco Fragrance but this sounds nice with vanilla and a blend like Belinda makes with leather I bet this wold be nice)

Cocoa Therapy (It's been ages since I ordered this.   Guess I will try again)

    Thanks.

So I am not sure if I am too late for this reply. I was not a fan of the Berry Triffle nothing in general I just think there are better berry fragrance out there. The Avocado Cilantro is probably one of the only ones I have never ordered, you will have to let me know. Lav Sage and Rose is one of my favorites and I hate Lavender scents. Sea Salt and Peony is a nice floral scent and I sell a lot of it. Blueberry muffin is okay, I prefer Candlewic Wild Maine Blueberry for most of my Blueberry candles. Vanilla Mint is nice. Mayan Gold is a not the best seller for me but I think it is the name. I agree with Belinda on the Pumpkin spice chutney I am not a fan. I think it too much like a burnt smell. Chutney by the way is like a chunky jelly. Sweet tobacco vanilla is another nice scent but like you I have a hard time selling tobacco scents. Cocoa therapy is a super strong chocolate but a bit more like a bitter chocolate. If you have not ordered yet throw in some Tomato leaf it is amazing.

Just outside of Portland in Westbrook! :)

Old Town is up near Bangor if I recall, ya?

Yes it is way up about 8 miles North of Bangor, it is a drive for us.

I get mine printed down in Florida (I'm in Maine) 3,000 at a time with 30 different versions, which is 100 labels per fragrance. Its a rather big label, really big actually as far as candle labels go and they still only cost me 30 cents or less per label. They are very high quality and saves me a ton of time.

If you want to take them to the next level, just start calling around to print shops and getting quotes. Once they know your needs its fairly easy. You may also want to start learning a design program like Adobe Illustrator. You can sign up for Adobe Cloud services and get access to all Adobe products on a per month basis.  Most product labels you see on the store shelf are designed through Illustrator, so if that is something that interests you it is a fun process of learning that design software.

I am going to be nosy, where in Maine? I have a house in Old Town.

I would change An Affair to Remember to Booty Call. 😂

Oh snap, now I really want to use that name somehow!

I have Suede too, and I'll definitely want to rename that one. Not sure what though. I like names that are a little risqué. Maybe "Rub Down" or "Soft Touch". Or "Hot Guy in a Fleece Robe". Ok, the last one was too wordy. But you see where I'm going with that. 😉

my husband suggested afternoon delight for the affair to remember.

  14. I got my Pure order the other day. I just put the Orange you sweet in wax and it is amazing. It is the scent you get when ripping into the peel of a fresh orange, you can almost taste it in the back of your throat. The only drawback is the oil color is a very noticeable orange so no white candles with this one.
