Thanks BF.

It's been a while since I've posted anything here - hope everyone is doing well!
Regarding Pro Blend 600:
I did a comparison burn - in a status jar, a premier wick, 745 and the other with an eco 8, FO 6%, cured way over two weeks. The end result was the eco 8 sooted way too much at the end for my liking. The Premier burned nice. So i proceeded to make a couple other testers using the Premier 745 as a starting point, same fo %. The cure time is now over two months and I thought at this point the hot throw would have been great, but it was not that great at all. Some of the scents I used were CS Snickerdoodle and CS White Birch - good throwers in straight paraffin wax. (I know that Pro Blend is a combo of PF and soy).
If I add a higher % of fo, I may run the risk of sooting. Should I add a little paraffin wax? I have 4786 and 4625 (pillar wax) on hand. If I use a little bit of the 4625 to harden the wax should I go up in wick size?
Can anyone offer and advice? Thanks....

@TallTayl I have had success making either a votive or a tea light of harder to burn wax so that you can do an over pour and everything looks uniform if your jars are clear. This method doubles to hold floppy flat works nice and straight for the whole burn on soft waxes
I don't understand, please further explain. If you do an over pour of harder wax wouldn't that effect only the top of the candle? How would it keep a floppy wick straight on the whole burn? Thanks.

I have about 5-6 cases of leftover FO I am not using. This does not include the boxes of samples.
For the samples we could do a simple exchange post. Send out 20 FOs (or whatever fits into a medium or small USPS flat rate box to a participant, they take what they want, refill with theirs to make up the ones taken, mail it out to the next participant, and so on and so on. I am willing if anyone else wants to do this.
Great idea Candy - I'm in !

I love these jars and currently testing the CBL 125 in them. So glad to hear that she is just moving and not totally going out of business. They really do make a beautiful candle!

The zinc lid would look good as would the white.
Didn't know you were on a time constraint but even if you had the time $20 bucks for shipping the lids? Heck no!
BTW - labels are adorable .... You are most def. the Queen of labels!

These could go with either scent but may be a bit bright for your label...

I just don't get why anyone would want a candle that smells like A-1 Steak Sauce.
LOL, me either!

I did not even notice the CS ornament until you mentioned it. Was too busy looking at the pretty candle.
That ornament was part of the fall swap ❤️
How cool, a Craftserver ornament!

Good Morning! Could you please make a recommendation on a wick type and size for this wax? Using a 12 oz. status jar? Thanks 🙂
