Ok...never used Turkey Red Oil before and am trying to make the Honey Bath Syrup...my question...is the Turkey Red Oil suppose to have such a strong odor?? I'm trying to cover the scent up with fo...but I'm still smelling that smell. I just got the Turkey Red Oil in about 2 weeks ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!!!!! Kim

Hi Jami! Just a question...#1...did you weigh the 1 oz. out...because this one is a very heavy oil...so what looks like 1 oz. could actually be 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 oz. fo weighed. When I use this one with my IGI 6006...I use a wire whisk to incorporate it with the wax because it is so heavy...have to do this with the Madagascar Vanilla Orchid and Creme Brule too. Thank you thank you!!!! You ladies really know how to make my rainy day sunny!!! Ok...to answer the million dollar question ... we FOH & FBD are 2 separate businesses run by 2 separate people. Denise was originally a customer of mine but this relationship in no time grew into a great friendship. Our little men play together and we do things together. Denise began selling her products and we talked because she wanted to get into selling soaping supplies...this is how she started selling wholesale. Then she came to me and said she wanted to try a few fo's...she loves designer scents and there are so many that I can't carry...so we thought we would split them. I'll be continuing to carry the oils I have and more...but she is going to try and stick with mainly designer perfume oils which so many of us want...including me but I just don't have the room for everything *smile* So...between the 2 of us...we are going to try and bring in as many fo's as we can ... we only live 10 minutes away from each other so combining orders is easy for us. That way all of our customers save on shipping. Plus with shipping costs always increasing...it's best to combine when possible. So...I already have your interest with my pre-buy huh?? Boy...I haven't even posted it yet *giggle* ... they are a few that I'm loving so I thought I would do a pre-buy so that everyone can save some $$ Aqua is a really cool water scent. I've had many ask for water scents for soy and when I walked into Pier 1 and smelled this...loved it! My husband really likes it too! Very clean!! For those of you that loved the old Choc. Oh gals...Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue is one of my favorites!! My hubby got me the real thing for Christmas and I have to say...the one Denise is gonna have...EXACT!! Oh...if you like clean mild fruity scents....this one is RIGHT up your alley!!!!!! This one is not like fruity fruity..it is a very clean fruit...I wear it all the time because it is light enough anytime and clean with kisses of citrus!! The description from Sephora is "A stunning perfume, overwhelming and irresistible like the joy of living. Surprising and colored: the liveliness of Sicilian citron, the happiness of Granny Smith apple, the spontaneity of bluebells. Feminine and resolute: the intensity of jasmine, the freshness of bamboo, the charm of white rose. Deep and true: the character of cedarwood, the fullness of amber, the embrace of musk. Notes: Sicilian Citron, Bluebell, Granny Smith Apple, Jasmine Sambac, Bamboo, White Rose, Cedarwood, Amber, Musk." And the Blue Sugar...I put that in IGI 6006...did good...OOB you smell the toasted caramel more...but put in wax and the black licorice pops more. It is a nice one! Increases are not across the board with all suppliers. It is at the decision of the individual supplier if they are increasing their prices (due to increases from their manufacturers) At this time, I will NOT be increasing any of our Fragrance Oil prices. The manufacturers that I deal with have not increased any of our prices, although they state, some raw materials can go up without notice. So as I mentioned, there will be no increasing on any of FOH prices. Just a note...USPS has announced they will be increasing their prices once again!! Effective in May!! UGG!! 1# package will go from $4.05 to $4.60 - think they are increasing enough!! Also...stamp prices will go from $.37 to $.41! Like we all need increases in any delivery costs!! My understanding...US Companies are still able to ship via USPS International - but only ship those FO's that have minimum 200+ flashpoint. (this is the company's choice to do so though) Until USPS changes that ruling with the 200+ flashpoint...our company will continue to ship them via USPS Priority or Global Express as we always have. Regarding Chocolate Chip Cookie...the manufacturer that I was getting it from increased their price by 52% on it!! Couldn't see charging my customers over $30/lb for Chocolate Chip Cookie ... I can't see passing that on to my customers...not that kind of pricing...but I do have a smidgen left and I'm sending it to another manufacturer that I deal with and we'll see what their "duplication" of it is ... they are really good at doing mine for me. If the price is right...I'll bring it back for everyone ... also...I'm watching this thread and will be getting Coconut, Milk & Peaches and Peanut Butter Brownie Pie plus also contemplating Raspberry Guava again.
