GermantownCandles
How many of you guys blend your own wax to create your own unique wax? Just curious, I have my own jar blend and my own melt/tart blend that I think works better than any others that I have bought!
justajesuschick
I do and I agree with you. I think most people blend their own. I see pop up sellers (in the Facebook wax community) who buy *insert suppliers name here* "tart blend", melt in a double boiler or microwave, dump in a random amount of oil and wonder why theirs is not as popular as *insert popular online sellers name here*.Most of us have blended until we were sick of wax to find the best blend for our use. My business is solely wax melts and while that category used to just be leftover candle wax, it is now a full industry of it's own.
SuzyK
I blend my own Lots of testing involved (especially in the beginning) for sure!
Jcandleattic
I agree with jajc - I think most of us blend our own. I do. My pillar and votive wax are custom blends, not so much my container wax, but I do use additives to help create a unique blend.
Candybee
When I was making parasoy candles I blended my own. But now that I make palm I don't. If I want to make a different crystal pattern then I will blend 2 different palm waxes together.
