Glow Pigment?

Recommended Posts

Anyone ever use or come across glow powder? I think BCN used to sell it, but no longer see it listed on their site. With Halloween fast approaching, I'm a little late to the game now...But I was thinking for next year it would be neat to make some glow in the dark candles.

Anyone have an experience with this - using Glow Powder? Thoughts?

That powder is a pigment and it will clog your wicks.

Really? With so little being used per # I woud think that wouldn't be an issue. Reading up on past threads has me interested in trying this stuff, but wouldn't want it to affect the wick or HT. Maybe I can superheat an ounce of glycerin first, add the powder to it - to make a pigmented gel, and see how that does.

Does the glow powder not fully dissolve?

It would be fun to use it in melts if it doesn't affect the HT...or even for dipping critters!

Make little ghost melts. or glowing eyeballs or something!
