SliverOfWax
But it's too expensive for me. Scroll down a bit. It's more than $1 more than their multi-colored yarn. And knitting-warehouse generally has the best prices. I hate to think what other sites charge.http://search.store.yahoo.net/yhst-73078103945512/cgi-bin/nsearch?query=starbella&first=20&only=0&categ=all&catalog=yhst-73078103945512

SliverOfWax
I could look at yarn all day. It's so comforting. I used to knit like crazy, but not now, except for the ruffle scarves. The Starbella yarn I mentioned is the ruffle stuff. This is what it looks like when finished:Texas Brat got me hooked on it:http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?104501-New-scarf-I-knitted

I got 2 skins of RH Team Spirit to start, the pattern I got with it has a simple afghan to crochet, i didn't see one for a knitted afghan, but since i crochet and knit(not real advanced yet, still teaching myself), I thought this would be interesting to try. I saw your pic of the ruffled scarf and got 1 skein or RH Boutique to knit a scarf from, I REALLY didn't need 2 buy that (LOL)

Going2Adopt
Red Hart has a similar yarn called Sashay. My best friend uses it to make the ruffle scarves. Walmart in our area just started carrying several colors of it at $4.67 a skeinhttp://www.herrschners.com/product.aspx?sku=710782P&sk=Sashay+
