flairforlife
Is the GB 444 or the 415 body safe? I have a recipe that calls for soy wax and I want to put it in tubes, but I want to make sure its body safe. Thank U
Kitn
Does your supplier have that info on their site? I have used soy wax in solid lotion and quite like it.
Beth
The 415 is safe. Not sure about 444 with the additive in it.
flairforlife
The suppliers site says nothing about being body safe . Emailed them and got no responce. Thank you Beth. Had just hoped to use one of the 2 kinds I have and not have to order anymore. I am just thinking I would like it better than the beeswax in solid lotions. Beth
Here's a recipe using soy wax from Swift's site:http://swiftcraftymonkey.blogspot.com/2010/07/back-to-basics-lotion-bars-tweaking.html
CareBear
EcoSoya waxes are GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe), I believe, and thus allowed in personal care products. Edited April 28, 2012 by CareBear
