Jewls819 Posted March 19, 2012 Share Posted March 19, 2012 I have been making salt bars in a 2# log mold and finally splurged for a 5# Slab mold with dividers. My question is what is the weight of the oil I should use. For the 2# mold I used 1# of oils. The 1:1 ratio of salt added makes the recipe a bit bigger. I was thinking 40# of oils.
