AnnieD
I am still learning and only do melt and pour. I had given a gift of a pink rose soap w/ mica dusted onto the design on top to my future Mother-In-Law and she loved it. She showed it to one of her home helpers (she is homebound) and she asked if she could buy some to give as gifts. I made up pink (rose scented) and lilac (lavendar/rose scented) soaps in the rose patterns w/ mica dust on the designs and charged $4 each. She wanted 10, so I made $40!! I threw in one of my Christmas embedded soaps as a gift to her. This was all unofficial and no taxes were charged or anything like that, but it sure felt good that someone wanted to pay for my soap. Still trying to decide whether to pursue the business side or not.Just wanted to share.:smiley2:
