mzphee
Hello all I would like to test making single tarts, I have candlewic soy125, elevance c3, and golden foods 444 wax. can I use any of these soy waxes to make tarts or do i need a different kind of wax? If I do need a different kind any suggestions?
deb426
Are these for yourself or to sell. If they are for personal use, all of those waxes would work but they are soft. If you are going to sell them, you should probably find a wax that is a little harder. I'm not sure about soy125, never used it.
Stella1952
With C3, I just make them with the same stuff as in my candles, but they can be a little soft and damage easily. If I want the batch to come out harder, I add beeswax, palm stearic acid or some palm wax. I don't use the other waxes.
carol k
You can use them all. I use gb415 soywax. Yes, they are soft & I put them in the freezer to release from the molds. Never have a problem with them at summer shows that are between 90-100 degrees. Just keep them out of the sun.
