HorseScentS
Hi, everyone. I'm searching for Vanilla Hazelnut Cappuccino, but I've only seen Hazelnut Coffee, Vanilla Hazelnut (with no coffee), and I think, Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee, but no Vanilla Hazelnut Cappuccino, which I think would smell creamier than coffee. Do you have any suggestions for finding or mixing this scent? Thanks! Edited to add: I just found Cappuccino Hazelnut on Peak's, so I'm wondering if adding some kind of vanilla FO to that will work... Thanks so much, Beth! But I've never heard of Brighter Scents, have you? Does anybody know if their FOs are any good? I'll order a sample. They don't show their city and state on their "Contact Us" page, so I wonder where they're located.Edited to add: I just Googled Brighter Scents and some Craftserver reviews came up that were pretty bad, like this thread, for one: http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?97947-brighter-scents-midwest-candle-supplyYikes! Brighter Scents is the company that has 3 different names and keeps changing it's name to keep ahead of all the complaints: http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?73621-Difference-between-Creative-Illuminations-Gelluminations-amp-Brighter-Scents Edited October 31, 2011 by HorsescentS
deb426
I would think that the vanilla in the Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee would make it pretty creamy. You can call it anything you want.

You can call it anything you want.I hope you're right, deb426. I just thought there was a reason they called it "coffee" instead of "cappuccino," like maybe it smells darker. but I'll get a sample of that. I don't know if there's a "cream" FO I could add to make it smell creamier, if needed. I'm thinking of ordering from Peaks, since everyone raves about them and they're close to me. I could get their Cappuccino Hazelnut and try adding their French Vanilla or a straight Vanilla. do you think French Vanilla would be too buttery? I love buttery smells, but I don't think Cappuccino smells buttery. lol Edited October 31, 2011 by HorsescentS
CareBear
candle science has both hazelnut cappuccino and vanilla hazelnut. and a kick ass fresh coffee. I'd bet the hazelnut cappuccino would be good without vanilla, tho I haven't smelled it so am just guessing. or maybe blend the vanilla hazelnut with the fresh coffee.peak has all 3 also, but I haven't tried theirs - yet. I do love peak, though.

That's a good idea about blending the Vanilla Hazelnut with the kick ass fresh coffee, especially if the Vanilla Hazelnut has a creamy note. Thanks for mentioning that you love Peak. I had the wrong impression because their FOs don't get discussed as much on their own forum here. lol So, I thought it was because they weren't good, but I guess they are so good they're a trade secret. lol
carol k
Millcreek has vanilla hazelnut mocha that is strong. Smells like vanilla hazelnut coffee to me.

I guess we just expect everyone to know that fact.
HorseScentS
Millcreek has vanilla hazelnut mocha that is strong. Smells like vanilla hazelnut coffee to me.Thank you, carol k. That sounds good! I went to a couple of convenience stores today, and the first one had 12 types of cappuccino in their dispensers, including French Vanilla Hazelnut Cappuccino! So I guess French Vanilla is a good one to try as a mixer, instead of, or in addition to straight Vanilla. The 2nd store only had about 4 types of cappuccino in their dispenser, including French Vanilla Cappuccino, without the Hazelnut. I didn't realize French Vanilla was such a popular flavor for cappuccino.

I guess we just expect everyone to know that fact. That's a great explanation, thank you! I'm even more excited about ordering FOs from Peaks now, and I'm glad they're so close to me.
