Miadrianel Candles
Grettings,I don't want to go into the exact details of the situation but let me throw something out there to see what you think of this.We used to buy from a local supplier that supplies many stores locally. The problem is that he is an authorized distributor and he actually sells to customers who buy in retail (the other stores possible customers) at the same price he sells to the stores. Now I think he is not even supposed to be selling retail at all or at least he should be asking for retail price to the walk ins that buy from him. In simple words he is competing with the same stores he supplies. I mean who is supposed to compete with a supplier who gives wholesale price to every customer that walks in. Now the other stores trying to compete with the same supplier to retain their customer have lowered their prices that many products now are worthless. They have been undervalued the market so much because of price wars that their margin of profit is way bellow the %25 which is ridiculous. And now some stores have even gone as far as making coops to buy merchandise from this supplier with their customers because they can't even compete with him. Which I think is really stupid. You open a business to make profit. You might think I'm being unfair. But I do have suppliers that every time a customer wants something in a smaller quantity it gets referred to me because we are their authorized dealer on the area and I take care of that customer. That's what I call a fair supplier. I don't know if I have explained myself but really can I get you guys opinion on this!??Dan
