AlwaysWondering
Did a farmers market this morning but a downpour closed us early. Once again, I had quite a few who asked about a scent like Bath and Body Works Slatkin Leaves. Does anyone carry this type or anyone have ideas for a formula?"Golden nectar, juicy mandarin and red delicious apple are paired with toasted cinnamon stick, mulled cider spices and freshly harvested red berries." carol k
Onlyfragrance.net is working on a dupe. You should call/email & ask Luis about it.
AlwaysWondering
Thanks, I haven't gotten on that bandwagon yet but I've been tempted. I'll give Luis a call.
Sharon in KY
Sounds Like Apple Jack and Peel to me. Don't know where the leaves name comes from but I haven't smelled it so I maybe wrong.
KarenOH
I remember seeing where someone had mentioned they thought NG's Hillbilly Homebrew smelled exactly like Slatkin's Leaves scent. Here's the description from NG..."The aroma of mulled cider with woodsy notes of oak, cinnamon bark and cloves, with hints of wildberries." Darbla
...NG's Hillbilly Homebrew smelled exactly like Slatkin's Leaves scent... Hmph. Isn't that comparison quite a dichotomy. Edited August 20, 2011 by Darbla
Candybee
Apple Jack & Peel doesn't smell anything like Slatkin's Leaves to me. I'm curious myself where to find a dupe as its very nice!
marcuset
Had Leaves in an oil burner the other day - also have NG's HH --- they have definite similarities, but HH has stronger cider notes (imo).
megandgarr
Hi there, that was me that suggested HH from NG as a dup. I do agree that they are not exact but the closest I have come so far. I would never have guessed it from the description alone.
