ScentedLuxuries
It doesn't happen often, but it always baffles me when I get a1 oz sample, then like it, then buy the full size bottle and the oils are totally different colors. The sample usually being a bit darker. Why is that? It makes me question if I'm getting diluted oils. I don't want to say the name of the company (yet). ScentedLuxuries
I guess this has never happened to anyone else then?
ChrisR
I've had a couple do this over the years, as some oils when they sit for awhile will darken. So if a supplier gets their oils in 55 gallon drums, pouring from the top of the barrel may be lighter in color than pouring near the bottom of the barrel. I've never had it affect the burn of my candles though.
Scented
THe lilac I use always goes from one color of oil to a reddish color. It affects only how I want to color my candles.
marcuset
I've noticed it with my Lilac as well.
marcuset
Agree with the others - hasn't had any effect on anything but how I color it.
