New Fall Scents

Recommended Posts

Wow, that does sound good! Is it something you just tried? Thank you so much for sharing it with us..I don't remember ever reading that!

No, it was sometime I tried last year after the season's end. I wish now I could find the original posters comments. It was such an awesome blend that I had to write it down in my little FO recipes book to do it again for next year.

I don't see a scent called Fall Leaves. I looked under the category Autumn and Alphabetically. Tried their search bar too. Nothing is listed.

Whoops! "Autumn Leaves" was the FO. That mixed with "Hayride". Both were the Bubbles n' Light fragrances from BCN.

No wonder I couldn't find the blend on the forum.

Here's the original forum post. I just blended the two instead of making a layered candle as MzPickle's did. http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?101004-BnL-Hayride&p=929075#post929075

Just a heads up on Pumpkin Buttercream. I tried this blend last fall and it didn't sell. I thought it smelled nice but it just didn't move. I still have a half dozen candles I have been trying to sell off. Same with Pumpkin Gingerbread. I have no trouble with plain ole Pumpkin Souffle. That sells great.

So I couldnt remember the specific two FO's that were referenced in this thread (until now that I looked it up) but I thought I had remembered someone mention blending Fall Leaves (which turns out was actually Autumn Leaves) and what I thought I remembered as being Campfire (but oops was really Hayride). So before finding this thread I grabbed my 1oz bottle of Falling Leaves (AH/RE - FES) and my 1 oz of Campfire (the candlesource) and put them side by side under my nose and took a big whiff and I really like the combo. It smells like fall to me and I think I am going to make some melts using this blend and see how they turn out.

Any suggestions of a good old Apple Cider (not mulled), that would be nice and strong in 4633 and palm? (sorry, not very original for a fall scent, but haven't found a good strong apple cider yet that I like!) TIA!

Is this possibly the thread that you are referring to about the "cider donut"?

http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?93690-Looking-for-Cider-Donut

I have the J&L Pumpkin Pie but I have never smelled a cider donut so I cant compare one way or the other. I can say that this pumpkin pie is definitely not the traditional pumpkin pie but it does smell great!

Ha. That sounds like a good combo too! Burning leaves? Neato.
