kyme1911
This is one that I used alot, it's called "Ton's of Bubbles" if you want a really white bar, add some TD (Titanium Dioxide) to the Lye water. You will have a white bar, as long as the FO you use doesn't discolor it. Anything over 25% CO, it is way too drying on the skin, IMHO. Hope this helps8 oz. sweet almond oil2 oz. castor oil10 oz. coconut oil10 oz. olive oil8 oz. safflower oil10 oz. vegetable shortening7 oz. lye (5% superfat)17 oz. water

ksackett
titanium dioxide is always good for a little whitening. some pages will say "THIS CAUSES CANCER" but if you actually read the research it was found to have a carcinogenic effect in lab rats who were inhaling the powder in large quantities. So I think as long as no one is grating up the soap and sniffing it it should be okay. KristinaSummer BEE and MMS have good lye calculators too. summer Bee will resize your recipe to fit your mold size for you too.
