ScentsandMore
I have ordered the 4045H wax and forgot to order wicks. I think I read where flat braid and square braid are ones to use. I am placing an order with Peaks today so thought I could get the wicks there. I noticed that on the square braid they have a 1 square (3-4” diameter paraffin pillars) and a 1/0 square (3-4" diameter pillars). What types of wicks are better for 4045H wax? I can order both flat braid and square braid but not sure about the 1 square and 1/0 square. Right now I am only going to make 3” pillars. TIA. topofmurrayhill
There's no best type of wick for 4045H. It's just plain wax and you can use anything you want. The size you need is going to depend on what additives you put in it, which FO and how much, etc. You probably should get more than one size. I don't know about the square, but I'd think 30 and 36 ply flat would be useful.
