njcandle
I have 5" bowls that I want to use 3 wicks with. Any recommendations on a wick type/size. Also any idea on where to get metal lids for these bowls or have people just used plastic covers? Yankee uses nice metal ones on their bowls and they look very nice. Thank in advance! Pam W
Whatever bowl and/or containers you use, you have to be sure it can withstand the heat. I poured a candle in an antique cut glass bowl and it cracked...it was a family heirloom.
CandleMakinCutiePie
What kind of wax are you using? That makes all the difference on the kind of wick you need. Also,I don't know where to find a lid this size, but someone else may chime in.I'm curious myself. njcandle
Im using GB 464 soy wax. I was thinking 3 - ECO 10 wicks but thats just by playing some numbers. I have looked all over for lids but haven't been able to find any. And I thought google could help me do anything. If anyone can find them, it would be trulllly appreciated Edited March 7, 2011 by njcandle
