Misty
Anyone have one of these? I just got one in on Saturday. I soaped green irish tweed in it with a really nice swirl, and it turned pink around the edges. I have other woodfields molds, and they haven't done that.Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
debratant
I have his nine bar slab and the dual loaf molds and have not had an issue like this at all. Is the sheet mold different from the slabs?
Misty
That's the thing. I have two of his slab molds and they haven't done this. The sheet mold is only one inch thick, and makes 12 bars. It makes it easier for swirling, for me anyway. I don't think the soap got too hot. I just hate to use it again, and waste that much soap. I haven't used the green irish tweed before though, so I don't know if that was the culprit,or not.
