FarmerJill
I've been thinking about getting out an old box of glass glow and working on some Christmas candles for myself. When I checked candlescience's website, they state maximum fo load is 6%. Peak's site recommends 3%. After doing a search here it seems like most of you who use GG end up at the higher rate. Does that sound right? 3% seems kind of low for a container.
Wessex
I use 6% in most of my containers with great results. A couple of stronger FO's I have gone a bit lower (never as low as 3%), and a few I have gone to about 8% with no problems. Never had a problem with any FO's bleeding, and think GG could handle loads of 10% if it had to, though never tried it. So I think 6% is a good FO load in the GG (and the pillar palms). 3% might be a bit low for a good throw, but this is just a guess.Cheers,Steve
FarmerJill
Thanks for the confirmation, Steve. It looks like I'll be starting out around 6% and go from there.
EricofAZ
I regularly go over 1oz pp with GG in a container. I think 10 percent is doable and I've come close (1.5 oz pp).
